No but they are annoying they keep calling every hour!

they used to call me everyday. today when i picked the phone up, they said that my number had been qualified fr one hour free calling and stuff. He confirmed my address, which didn't surprise me, but yeah, he asked me his postal code number, which was wierd coz the postal code alwayz shows up on canada 411. i juz kept down the phone and din continue talking to the guy:P

Calls everyday, sometimes he speaks, sometimes he keeps silence...about to kick that [***]....please help :)

When you call the number back, Startec Global Communications (www.startec.com) answers with a welcome message and then hangs up on you.

Called, left no message.  I have told these [***] since May 2008 to stop calling yet they still call.  I last heard from them on June 6th 2008 when I told them to take both my PRIVATE numbers off their calling lists and that I would be going to the police, hoping the threat would carry weight.  Unfortunately - for them - they have started calling again.  I'm organizing notes and going to my local police department tomorrow to file a formal complaint.

I get calls all the time from this number as well.  They don't talk when I answer.  I've called back to ask them to remove my number from their calling list like the "DO NOT CALL LIST" advises.  I get the welcome message but then no real person comes to the phone.  Unfortunately, I went to their web site.  The only way you can exit the website is to actually "X" out of it.  They're demons.

We've been getting calls from this number also - in Montreal Quebec - and no one speaks for at least 30 seconds after the call is answered.  Anyway, what  is pissing me off about it is that call late in the day - well they call anytime during the day - but last night it was just around 10pm, which really aggravated me.  The accent was Indian...

I did investigate this.  I called the number back, and talked to the person.  They were in India.   They comfirmed that the client was

After complaining about the numerous calls, they quickly said they would take my number off the list.  and I have received no more calls.

He has already called 2 times and has been unclear and you can't make him out to realize what he wants

someone removed the comment I left a few weeks ago.. not sure why...in it I stated that I had reported this problem to the Federal Communications Commission (USA).  I guess who ever manages this site didn't like that tidbit of information for all of you who want to do the same.  I've received a followup letter from the FCC so I suggest everyone do the same.  The only power we have over this is to get the officials involved.  The FCC has an online report feature so it's not even hard to do.  If you get a call from this number, or any of the others they use, I encourage you to contact the FCC and file a report.

They have called 9 times so far tonight.  I just don't answer anymore.

This number along with  1-866-381-1673  keeps calling my son's cell phone.  I have no clue who it is, or how they got his phone number.  I've tried to call it back but they never answer, just an answering system comes up.  and you hear silence for the time your on there.  what pisses me off is that they call late at night here, while he is in bed, and has school the next morning.  only reason I gave my son a phone is in case of an emergency.  there should be no reason they should be calling him.

i think it is Rogers  do you owe them money?

they're at it again, with new phone numbers now.  they use phone numbers with your area code so you can't tell who's calling....at least that's what they've done to me.  This company is working for the devil.  I'm sure the parents of idiots who are making these calls are so proud.  I think maybe next time they call I'll ask if that is so.
