SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont fall for it.

I found the following add on creigslist.com:
4bd/2ba with granite counters and new appliances (Pasadena)
We are in need of someone to take over payments. No Dn or deposit. Bad credit ok. Income verification.

I called the number. They charge a $208 fee. I asked where they were located, the rep. could not give me an address or location, however told me they work with capitol tittle??? Don't fall for this. I'm sure it's a scam!

Yep there are Running this SCAM in San Diego.  I have been finding Scams on Craigs and Reporting them and this is DEFINITELY ONE OF THEM>:(

Craigslisting for a stupid low post claiming foreclosure market ($900/mo in a $3000/mo area) - to good to be true - it is.  No company name on post so I call and all my questions were avoided and hi-pressure sale tactics used to get my wallet out to pay a fee to just see the house!  As l listened and questioned more, it was clear - SCAM ALERT!  Googled their phone number and found the same kind of listing offering a different house elsewhere, one small problem - same pictures as the place that I was calling about - oops.  Foiled by the all-mighty search engine....clowns...

Thank you for this!! I found a too good to be true add and decided to google the 866#..thanks for putting this helpful info out. I hung up after being called #9 when i read this.

This phone number called me back, and was abusive. Told ME to get a life. This was after I called them regarding a rental property and discovered it was a scam.

Also called this number regarding property in Orange, CA found on Craigslist.  After going from caller #9 to actually talking to someone, the lady talked a mile a minute, couldn't get a word in edge wise.  She asked for my name and then immediately for my credit card number.  I said I wasn't comfortable with giving that information, and that I just had some questions. She then became offensive and said "well information isn't free, give me your credit card number!" Again I said no, and she proceeded to curse at me for holding up her line and I hung up. Jerk Scammers!
