Fax requesting address and signature for delivering an express letter.  Can't find a listing for America Mail Ex-press anywhere on the web.  Discarded fax. It says the letter  will return to sender if they don't hear from me in 3 days.  I guess if it's real, the original sender will contact me eventually.

This morning we received a suspicious-looking fax from "America Mail Ex-press" stating that they have been attempting to deliver an express letter to our company, but they have an invalid address which needs to be corrected.  This looks like another attempt from one of these information-gathering companies to harvest our address so that they can start flooding our mailbox with junk mail.  I don't know for sure.  I googled "America Mail Ex-press" and there is no such company that shows up.  They show the "sender" of this mysterious letter as originating from 106 Metropolitan Park Drive 2, Liverpool, NY 13088.  (probably a bogus address)  They have our company name, our town, state, zip, and the owner's name, (and of course our fax number), but not the P.O. Box number.  (Someone called yesterday trying to sell us light bulbs.  I wonder if these are the same people?)

It is signed Jason Oliva, Vice President.  The contact information is anthony_green@americanmail.com

The letter asks for -Full Name  -Address  -Signature.  At the bottom, in bold it says "signature required."  This seems very suspicious.  I'm not falling for it.

We got the same letter, but the address is 487 Mantua Ave, Deptford NJ with the incomplete zip code of 8096.  Doesn't appear to be any exact address match.  Closest is 487 Mantua Ave, Woodbury, NJ‎, which is home to Ace Ford Parts.

Same as the ones above.  Our sender's address is 1575 US Highway 70 W, Garner, North Carolina.  The letter is signed by Jason Oliva.  I Googled the fax number (that's how I found this string of comments).  The number also matched a fax number that belonged to a raffle program for the NWA (National Workforce Association) from December of 2007.  It looks like you send them money, $50 or more, and you will be entered to win a prize.  Just fax your entry to this same number.  It all sounds like bad news to me.

Got the same garbage by fax on 3/30/2010. They put an email address on this at anthony_green@americamail.com, but if you go to americamail.com there's nothing there but a generic front page completely unrelated to shipping. Ours has a sender address at 113 York st in Michigan City Indiana.

It's gotta be trash because I'm doing searches for america mail ex-press and this website is the only things that's come up.

We received this fax as well on 4/13/2010.  The email was anthony_green@americamail.com and signed Jason Oliva.  They are not found on the Better Business Bureau.  It was send from 875 Foxon Rd New Haven CT.  It is a printing and mailing company and a pharmacy.  The fax stated that they tried mailing us a letter and could not succeed.  The person who received the fax sent an email to Anthony and gave our physical address.  He said we still needed to send the signed fax back.  It looks almost as if, if we were to fill out the information on the space provided they could just cut and paste it onto a credit card application or something similar.  BEWARE! We have since disregarded the fax.

Same for me.  I Gooled the fax number and got this string of comments. They had my name and fax # but nothing else...definitely a scam.  Sender address used for us was 999 Eastern Boulevard, Clarksville, IN 47129...it is a Subway Sandwich shop. From America Mail Ex-press, signed by Jason Oliva, email conact is anthony_green@americamail.com.  Funny how no business address for America Mail Ex-press is listed anywhere on form and they don't exist when you Google them.  We have disregarded the fax.

I have read the posts here and I have a similar story. Unfortuantely I did sign and return this fax. Not a smart move. I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. I got mine from Las Vegas and believed it since I was just there attending a convention where they do send me info via mail and fax. I should have been more supicious right away but I sent it then did my investigation work. I did all the same things as listed here with the search on the internet all the same facts were on my fax letter. Same contact and signature to contact. None of this comes up on the internet as stated only this blog. This really looked correct to me, and the timming was right. I just called my credit card company and cancelled my current card and now I will have to wait for a new number and card 5-7 days. In the meantime I will have to check out the statements. I hope by quickly reporting this I have avoided someone from potentially using my credit card if the in fact might have the number. I had no proof that they do have my number but I was not going to take the chance since I have had my personal number take once this year. This account was the company so I did not want to take the chance. I have now informed Capital One of this possible scam hopefully that will help someone not to do such a bone headed thing like I just did. Good luck to the rest of you. It is bad enough that I may have opened the mail advertising gate!!!

Same here.  In our case the supposed "Sender" was located at 1202 E Main St, Cumberland KY 40823.  Letter dated May 3, 2010, asking to contact anthony_green@americamail.com and signed by Jason Oliva, VP

I think this scammer is a professional, and is probably getting hundreds or thousands of Signatures with complete information of customers.  I will probably send this info to the FBI.  Sadly, I don't expect them to do anything, as they are probably busy with terrorists and don't have time to deal with lowly fraudsters.

To complement my previous post, here's the link to the INTERNET COMPLAINT CENTER.  I invite anybody here to post a complaint about this scammer:

    http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

The more complaints, the more chances we have of nailing this fraudster.

I just received this fax. Another start to a day of fending off these scammers! I feel like Fort Knox when I answer the phone, receive any fax or email. I did reply to this request only not with my address rather a note "Nice try losers - get a real job!" Will they get a real job? No they don't know what hard work is. However I feel like I had my say with them and can continue on with my day armed for the next assault.
The address that came in seems to be from a Honda dealer in SC. I wonder if these businesses and institutions realize what is gong on with there good name?

This same fax just came through to me.  The supposed sender is Pickerman's resteraunt in Dubuque IA.  I am scanning it and forwarding it to our Indiana State Attorney General.  Our state has passed some tough legislation on unwanted solicitations.  I always send the faxes back to the scammers fax removal number with the date and instructions to remove my fax number.  I then save each one in a file.  By doing this, I have been able to join class action lawsuits against companies that do this, and I have the proof that I directed them to stop soliciting me.  So far, I have collected $675.00 in 3 seperate class action settlements.  In Indiana, the scammers can be fined $50 for each violation.  I am getting ready to nail Personnel Concepts, Compliance Service Department, 3200 East Guasti Road, Suite 300  Ontario CA 91761.  I have been telling them to stop all solicitations ( and documenting it) to my company since Dec of 2007.  I have even emailed them the IN Statute and they still continue to solicit my company.  So I am continuing to collect evidence.
