I have recieved calls from 866 385 0277. It is spam by telephone

Called and hung up after the answering machine picked up, no message left.
This is about the 20 time they did this!
My number is already on the Nation Do-Not-Call List already, how come I am still getting spam calls!?

Update:  I called them back, and realized that they are a collection agency, they were after my cellphone number's previous owner.
Although they agree to take the number off, but if I'll let you guys know if they call again after today!

Yup, as I suspected, although they PROMISED to take my number off due to mistake, but they sure called again today!

Called Hung up i called back and jamacan woman answered and i asked to be removed from list

called several times over a week period. when i finally called back the no. on my caller i.d. they said they were looking for my landlord. even though i explained i am on the no call list they continued to be rude and pushy

I have had it with calls from this number I do not know them or owe them anything!!they call me 10 times a day My cell phone is new and prepaid at that there is no record that this is my cell phone since there is no contract..STOP CALLING ME....

Called me and didn't leave a message.  WTF?

Called and hung up w/o message. Have not called for over a month. Used to call several times a week. I know who they are; they are debt collector Alliance One. Addresses include 1684 Woodlands Dr., Maumee OH 43537 and corp HQ at 717 Constitution Drive, Ste. 202, Exton PA 19341 phone 484-531-5000, fax 484-531-5057. Write by certified letter or fax them telling them not to call you again. Dispute the alleged debt and ask for written proof.
If they have a real debt they will send a letter. If not they are full of crap as they buy many old debts that have been either bankrupted or are past the statute of limitations which means they cant make you pay if you assert this right (varies by state). NEVER answer their calls!

called my cell and home phone....cell is under my name and home is under my fiance's name.....different last names....Cannot figure out how they got the 2 numbers tied together...never talked to anyone.....they do not leave a msg

they called me on a Sunday and I think they also call from an "unknown number" because I get other calls where they hang up after I answer.
Called them back and talked to a jamacan woman then tranfered me to a  jamacan man. I notified them it is illigal to call and autodial on a sunday he did not seem to care but said oh we didnt know.
I will report them but they seem to be a forighn company or service for Allinace One so I dont think anyone can stop them or they would have.

I know someone who works there.  There are several locations for Alliance One, including Jamacia.  There is a reason thez don't leave messages.  Debt collecting is highly regulated in the United States.  They are only allowed to contact you once a day.  It is considered a contact if they leave a message, either with a person, voice mail, or answering machine.  If they don't leave a message, they can call you back later in the day in hopes of talking to you.  They are 100% legitimate, and are hired by company's to collect debts.  I know that the Maumee location is hired by utility companys, cell phone companys, among others.  They are very good at what they do and they know how to find someone.  It doesn't matter if you are on a do not call list, because this is not a spam call.  I have never received a call from them, but I googled them on the internet to find there address and stumbled upon this post.  I thought that I could shed some light on the situation.

Your phone number was probably linked to a debtor at one time.  If they call again, answer, and see what they want.  If you are not the debtor they are looking for, they will take you off the list and stop calling.

Frequent phone calls during the day & evening hours for several weeks now.  No messages left.  It must be either mistaken identity or telemarketing.
