I dont believe your story. You probably work for this company, seems shady to me. They will have people post fake stories to try and scare people

So did you ever get served? LOL. I have just received a call from my boss stating that I was going to be served at work and she called me right away.  The debt that they are claming I owe is not even on my credit report.  This is very fishy!!!!

So were you ever served by them? They clam that I owe this large some of money and will not provide any other information. The credit card that they clam I owe money for isn't even on my credit report. They told me they were looking at my credit report right there. I pulled three reports and not one of them had it on there.

I was told 2 weeks ago I would be served, never was.  Checked with courthouse in my county and there is
nothing there about a lawsuit for me. Scare tactics. This company is not following fair collection practices as  defined by the law. I reported them and hope everyone else does.

Reporting them is my plan. This is crazy.

Some dude I used to mess with texted me today telling me I was going to be sued for 4378 and my wages garnished and property liens. He used this info to post on face book to the world calling me a broke [***].. Like damn they just give out info to anyone..

I called Mr. Sean mason (damn jerk) and he basically said “if you don’t have the money the conversation is pointless) rude mfer… I didn’t see anyone use bad words on here so I will try to keep with it but these jerks pissed me off then told me that I would be served tomorrow between 9-4 when im working and then they will put a levy on my bank account.

Now if it was my debt ok I will pay if you can give me information stating it but he said well we way past that stage we are going to court. Cant wait ….now I have to deal with tom and face book

OMG!!! I got the call last month and like an idiot, i gave over my debit card info because he knew EVERYTHING about me! The payment was suppose to come out yesterday, but I saw the story about the lasdy that won a $10 mill suit against debt buyer collection agency. I had to cancel my card, send an email to Sean Mason stating that I do not agree with the payment plan because I was never physically received any papers about the debt in writing. He was very rude again, but said it is going to their Legal Department. Found out the statute of limitations in Texas is 4 years! I got the visa card in question nearly 9 years ago. Luckily, I got help from others on a different site on what to do. Anyone else, DO NOT give these people your info. i wonder if people that have received these harassing calls get together, would we have a lawsuit against them? I know they are violating FDCA laws left and right.

Funny you should mention a Providian Card  ... because that is what this chump said I still owed for ~ that I had left them off my bankruptcy and that I was going to be served with papers in the morning ~ I had to think about it for a minute and then said "no way, I know for a fact they were listed because they were such a fraudulent company" ~ he asked if I had the paperwork in front of me, to which I said No, it's been over a year since the discharge ~ that I would have to find them and then I would call him back ~ Fortunately, they were in the same place from a year ago (it's been a wild year ) and big as day there was Providian listed on page 10 ~ oh yeah, I asked him for the last 4 numbers of the card ( that helped )  and yes, it was there !   I just happened to stumble upon this site and see all these people that have been called by this company ~ they won't give you an address or fax #  ~ how do they extort the money ?  They must take credit cards over the phone ~ Poor people who may have forgotten if they paid or maybe couldn't find their bankruptcy papers must be settling for some amount ~ I am going to call him back and ask for his address so I can send a copy of the paper in which there will be a story about this scam and his name and company ~ I work for the local town paper and my publisher loves to warn folks about fraudulent scams  ~ any suggestions  ????

They said all they are required to give out is a PO Box # -- they also are  not listed as a business anywhere in Macon, GA.

my neighbor just played me a voicemail left on their machine with all of my personal account information regarding how much money I owe and to who. It also disclosed that I was going to be sued my assets were going to be taken from me and that they are serving papers to me. everything they have done it is completely against the FDCPA. unlucky for them my last job was a debt collector and I know the fdcpa inside and out. I have contacted an attorney for this matter and I suggest that you do too.

they threat me with papers being serve but they call me from 855 743 7352 I have read all the comments and realize they are a debt collector company .b that tries to scare you , I DONT BELIEVE THEY CAN DO ANYTHING , THEY CALL MY SISTER LOOKING FOR ME AND MY MOM , I DONT KNOW

These people called stated I owed for an online loan the date they said I got the loan I was in the hospital giving birth , so I'm  filing identity theft paperwork. I don't know how they got my info but the lady was rude said she didn't care and that I was going to jail and yelling at like I was a child and was going to back down. That didn't happen I guess I'll see URG in court.
