- Jan| 5 repliesNever received a call from there but Found this number on a fraud alert from my credit card company. Didn't order anything from there, don't know who they are and they put a $38 charge on my credit card without my authorization. Never even been to their site as far as I know.
- Jack replies to Jan| 4 repliesI too, had a $37.14 shown on my credit card account that I knew nothing about? Called 866-385-8478 asked for credit this false charge. Representative said they would issue credit.
- Slim replies to JackJack -
Since you called the number, can you identify them? Exactly who made the inappropriate charge, and what was it supposed to be for?
That information would go far to help us help you and others! - KeithChecked my debit card & had a debit for $37.14 that I didn't approve.....don't know who these people are
- Caller: Unknown...wasn't a call
- JanetGot a charge from this phone no on my credit card but never ordered anything from them.

- Mi replies to JackI had the same problem with you. So, how did you get money back?
- Robert Hall| 1 replyI, Also, got a credit card charge associated with the same number. I called the number and it appears to have been disconnected. I notified the credit card company fraud unit and they said they would look into it.
- Caller: Unknown
- CindyI had the same issue as every one who is posting. I only use one of my cards for emergencies, I called to check my balance and transactions when I noticed that 37.14 had been taken from my account for a "subscription" I called and complained and will be receiving a credit in 7-10 days.
- Lou Meade| 2 repliesI also had the same $37.14, when I called they wouldn't even tell me what company they were, kept saying the represent several companies. The one thing that I do know is that it was due to a survey for Amazon. Apparently, you are redirected to this when you are viewing an Amazon page, the survey is about Amazon and therefore you would think it legit. However it is bogus, and somehow activates some membership for you, although it says nothing about this.

- Tygerkat replies to Lou MeadeIf it was a survey, how did they obtain your credit card number?
- Vanessa replies to JackDid they ever issue a refund?
- Purplebutterflylady| 1 replyAHA, I, too, discovered a $37.14 charge on my card for a face cream that I did not order! When I called to advise that I neither ordered nor received any face cream, I was told the charge represented a survey I took for Amazon requesting an MP3 player for which I paid $2.95 s+h fee AND membership in some discount club. I advised that I'd neither requested/never received/never been charged $2.95 for/nor EVER owned an MP3 player NOR would I blindly consent to join a discount club for which I would be charged a monthly fee & about which I knew nothing. I was told numerous companies were represented by the phone # 866-385-8478. I am awaiting credit to my account. Tygerkat asked Lou Meade above, "If it was a survey, how did they obtain your credit card number?" When one is told the charge came about as a result of an Amazon survey (I assumed my credit card number came from Amazon?), one knows they didn't take an Amazon survey, and this all happened behind the scenes, a consumer's next step is to begin the reporting process as each concerned consumer, including me, above has done.

- me replies to Purplebutterflyladyexact same thing happened to me.i got thru to them and they say they will refund me will see
- joanne replies to Robert Hallnumber is disc't. $37.14 charge today. possibly from an mp3 player-2.99 shipping charge not showing BUT THIS BOGUS CHARGE IS THERE and there is no way to contact them. I hardly ever shop on line. this is just wrong.
- joanne| 1 replyThis IS a scam and a charge listed "health" on my bank account of $37.14. Bank says they can do nothing about this. HOW CAN AMAZON NOT KNOW THIS IS LINKED TO THEIR OFFICIAL SITE. That ends my Amazon shopping. This over drew my account. They did not call-they offered a survey linked to Amazon.com. SO WRONG.

- Larry replies to JackJack don't count on this company issuing a credit, call your credit card co. and lodge a fraud complaint. This ams thing happened to me after taking what I thought was a satisfaction survey from Verizon Wireless. They offered a free MP-3 just pay $2.00 shipping, then get the 37.14 charge. I have called the company, (refused to give me their exact name), the credit card company (fraud unit), then BBB, and my states attorney!
- Larry replies to joannejoanne, same thing happened to me except the survey was supposedly from Verizon Wireless, see my reply to Jack just below here>
- AndeCompleted a survey about my experience with Amazon and when I finished it offered an MP3 player if I paid a $2.00 shipping fee. Our credit card was charged $37.15. We called the number and disputed the charge. They said they will refund the money...we will be calling our bank also. We also called Amazon and reported that their website has been compromised and that it has happened to lots of people apparently.

- SandraI also had a monthly charge fee of $37.14 shown on my credit card account. I called 866-385-8478 to asked for these charges. Representative said they would issue credit and cancel my membership. I never requested this "subscription".

- Rocky Mtn LadyReceived a charge for $37.14 with a telephone number "866-385-8478 serum". I remember taking a customer survey after visiting my online credit union website and being asked to pay only shipping fees, $2.95, for a free MP3 player. Called my bank and was referred to the fraud department. I was credited for this charge and the investigation is in process. Thanks for sharing your stories online!
