Called me - nobody was talking

Call showed up on caller id as out of area, but the person left a message with the name of Mike Howell and gave the number 866-385-9422 x3111.  Asked for someone not at this telephone number and left no details but to return the call.  I've been receiving out of area calls at the same time each day for the past few days while at work.  Have no idea about the call.

These jerks called me today on my new cellphone. I did not answer and no message left. Based on prior comments this is a debt collector. I am pretty savvy on the web but I cant find the company for this number without paying for it (I dont pay for info that should be free). If anyone can identify this caller please let me know and I will tell you how to stop them from calling. Maybe I will call from a payphone after hours and find out who these jerks are. I will post updates on what I find and please also do so if anyone finds out who this caller is. I do not tolerate unwanted phone calls and wish to put all these jerks outta business!!! File complaints and lawsuits against every unwanted caller!

I did find some useful info. This number maybe related to Alliance One a debt collector based in PA. They have 866-385-XXXX numbers so it seems to match. See website which lists these jerks and some of their phone numbers

I am the person that has been getting calls EVERY day from this number since September 14th of 2007.  I am usually at work but I see it on my caller ID.  They leave no messages and its irritating if they don't say why they're calling every day.

I am sure it has to be Alliance One.

My wife spoke to them and they said they were a collection agency for the IRS.  I do not think I am behind but they don't answer when I call.  Any thoughts?

These people are Liars! Even tho some CAs do collect for the IRS those that do will send you a letter because they know you owe the money and they can prove it. Only jerks that have no proof will just call and call without sending written proof. These jerks use the IRS to make you scared so you will pay them. Dont fall for it, they dont work for the IRS or you would have recieved a letter. Scam, scam scam!!! ALWAYS demand written proof!

I don't know why these people are even calling. I don't have bad debit and they do not answer when I call them back.
