They keep calling me and asking for someone who I know but I don't know how they know my phone number and that I am related to that person. They said: "may I speak to ___ ___" (and they named one of my relatives, and my relative does not get in trouble with the law or credit people) and I said "who is calling?" and they said "ma'am, does a ___ ___ live there?" and I said "you need to tell me who is calling" and then they hung up. So what the hell is this all about? Is it a telemarketer? And how did they get MY number and how did they know that I am related to the person they were asking for????

you can register any of your phone numbers with the national do not call registry but you have to be registered for 31 days before you can put in a complaint..but for now just register your numbers..when whoever these low lifes are call, tell them to stop calling or you will report their numbers ALL OF THEM to the ftc ....i answer everytime and tell them to stop calling..i have my numbers registered but i too have to wait the 31 days.....see what happens from here...the numbers i got called from are from clear water florida and are 1-866-963-4942 and 1-866-394-9194  SO FAR...

I have been recieving about 7 phone calls a day from this number 1866 394 9194 when I tried to call back several times it said all circuits busy and they never leave a voicemail either I wonder if this is a scammer?

i am getting almost 5-6 phone calls a day from last few weeks .. they keeps calling and even when i pick up the phone they just hang up .. this is harrasment ...... . I tried to callt he number back, but it just says all circuits busy or soemthing.
i dont any calls from this #s again...

Caller has nonstop called with no one on other end or the request of someone that is not registered at this number.  Asked to be removed form their list, they hung up and called back again an hour later.

I kept getting calls from this number today and kept missing them.
I thought it was odd because sales people can't keep calling you, it was an 866 #, knew it couldn't have been a bill collector. I just got home and plugged this # into google and VOILA!!
This same thing happened before w/ a FL #,before ancame back to this site w/ other people annoyed by the same calls.
Is there something we can do, like something legal????

Same as everyone else on here. Before I'd get calls all the time from them saying that I won 200 dollar gift certificate and that they wanted my CC expiration date. I refused to give them any such info. That was a few months ago, then the calls stopped. Now they've started up again, but this time no one talks. They either listen to me say hello, then hang up or say that they got the wrong number. What the hell?!

I'd suggest: File a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission by email (fccinfo@fcc.gov) or online at www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html.  I just filed one a few mins ago. good luck everyone.

I have no clue how this company...IMC...got my number but I've had it. They've called me from something like 3 or 4 different numbers and they call all the time...day and night! I haven't read one good thing about them. Everything I've seen is about harassing phone calls and trying to scam people into buying magazines by luring them with a million dollar contest.

These people have called me for the past 3 days and its a differnt number everyday the first day it was 866-963-4944 the second day was
866-394-9153 and today was 866-394-9194. The first time they said is (my name) there and i said no stop calling and i kind of yelled at them and today i was actually nice and said please stop calling here and then they called my house phone..what the heck..how do they have all my numbers? I havent given out my number for anything..im getting so mad!

get 3-4 calls per day from this number. no one answers when you speak

theyve been blowing my phone up for 3 days all hours. even sat with phone in hand ready to pick up and tell them to take me off whatever list or however they decided to start calling me but i cant even pick up the phone when im waiting it rings once maybe only half a ring then hang up. like the rest of you trying to call back just gets me a loud ring in the ear and all cirsuits are busy. does anyone know legally if there is a way to get this back traced or bring a suit against them for harassment?

Whoever this is keeps calling my phone and doesn't say anything. This is very disturbing and I DO NOT appreciate it at all.... Please help me stop this number!!

18663949194 this number has called me about a hundred times when I answer they hang up on me I can't call back. Its extremely annoying!

I have been receiving calls from 866-394-9194 for a while now. I finally got annoyed and answered, they asked me about the credit card I have and I told him I cut it up. The he asked about my check card, I told him I only have an ATM card. He sounded upset and the preceeded to get off the phone. I think i'll be through with them. I'm not sure it worked but it might be away to get rid of those weasels.

Okay - after reading all of these comments, I got another call from them. (Which I have received approx 30 calls from them in the past 5 days) I also try to call back with it saying all circuits are busy. So I think I may have got rid of them - probably not the best way, but when they asked to speak to .... I said, "Oh, I am so sorry, but she passed away last week" They said, "sorry to hear that, we will make a note of that" - So I will see if the calls actually stop! Good luck everyone!

the are code 866 keeps calling me. almost 10 times now and wierd things have hpnd. i woke up this morning with numeral scratches on my body and im starting to break out on my face which never happens. plzzz help

The buzzards call my phone several times a day. Please put a stop to these scammers for good!

Man this number keeps calling my phone like 5 times a day!!! The frist time I answered they said something about $1 million. I hung up, and now keep calling and hanging up when I answer. I put them on my block list on my phone, so I dont hear it ring!!!!
