have received more than a dozen calls from this number in last 24 hours

company's name is IMC called them back and after 20 attempts got my number off the list.

Calls started last week and go on every two hours or so and even on Sundays, starting at 8:00a.m. I managed to get an answer on February 22, 2009, from calling from another cell phone. The man that answered the phone (voice sounded Caucasian)identified the Company as IMC or "TMC". I could hear a second voice in the back ground that sounded like the voice of a Black male, both of them were laughing.  The background sounds were hollow and almost sounded like a Call Center. Lo and behold, they called the second phone number and told me I had one a Sweepstakes via my Credit Card number. I was then asked to verify my credit/debit card number and expiration date. At that point I hung up and the call from this number started again on the first cell phone. These people are scammers and crooks because even employees know not to ask someone to verify their bank cards.

they have called 12 times in the past 2 days.  I have ask them to take my name and number off their list.

They have been calling my phone for my girlfriend, like all the freaking time!!! when i say shes not around they hang up or if they hear me answering they hang up.... its to the point were i cant even tell them 2 stop because they dont let me answer....
?is there a way to block them from a cell phone?

They called saying that I have been entered into a sweepstakes because of my major credit card.  The only problem is that I don't have a credit card at all.  They had my name, address and phone number!!  They have been calling all day and keep offering me a diamond watch and then they start wanting to sell me magazines.  My opinion to everyone is to make sure you watch your bank account and your credit cards and also maybe contact the credit companies.

They called and I finally caught them and told them not to call again.  They stopped for awhile.  Now, they're at it again.  Three times today.  In GA who can I call.  Cell company can't block them.  Thanks.

Do you know anyway to get your money back once they have your info by chance?

I have received 9 calls in 3 days.  I usually keep my phone on silent, so I did not answer the calls.  No messages are ever left.  What I don't get is that my phone is not the Do Not Call list.  Is there a way to report without them actually leaving a message?

I am having the same problem. I keep getting calls on my cell phone from a 866-394-9198 and a 866-963-4940 and also a 813-315-9754. For some reason when they call on my cell phone and I answer the phone keeps on hanging up, so I decided to call on my house phone to see what they wanted. This lady tried to tell me that my name was selected in some sort of sweepstakes. This is clearly false and some sort of scam, I have not entered sweepstakes in the past year or so.

I'm wondering why these people keep hanging up when you answer the phone? What's the point?

I blocked my number and called the company back; they could still see my phone number becuase he asked me if it was #### and I said yes. Then I asked him to please not hang up on me and let him hear me out; I told him that I was very busy with the Army and could not have them calling me anymore. I talked to James Hallow and he said he PROMISED (not that it means [***], but its worth a try) he would take my number off the calling list but it takes 24-72 hours to completely delete.....I don't necessarily believe that [***] but I asked him if I could call him back and let him know if I got another call and he said yes. So hopefully no more calls.

Same story. I'm 18 and by the time they were like "You're only paying for one" I felt like I had to be fair/nice/etc. Ugh... Now I'm going through the hassle of canceling my credit card and stuff. But they already charged the 79.73, like the second I got off the phone. [***]... I learned my lesson here.

This number called me 52 times in a 48 hour period. They just hang up when I don't answer. They are a big pain

called on cell phone - when I told them the person they were calling for was at work and if I could take a message, they would not leave message, said it was a courtesy call.

They called me for the sweepstakes and magazines too along with the diamond watch.  they didn't ask me anything about personal information but had my correct address...What should I do now?

Call your bank and cancel your card or your credit cards. Transactions were made on my bank card. Theivs!
