wanting to talk to my husband and was very rude I didn't like the call he was being an A$$HOLE I'm not giving my husband this message because he didn't tell me who he worked for or the company that he was calling for.

Called my wife asking for my name (same as my father), when asked in regards, they got rude, wanted my work number. They gave a number and hung up. When I called, they were rude and hung up again. Wouldn't tell me what they do.

This is Allied Interstate a debt collection agency. I was given that exact number 866-396-7769 from their FL office (googled them online). They were rated a F by the BBB because of their rude tactics. I tried calling them because I was making payments to them for a past due bill I had and now the bill has been transfered to another collection agency with a different amount, and it stated that they were having technical difficulties and to try back later.

We have a common last name, and get a fair number of calls from these debt collectors for people with the same last name -- but people we have never heard of.  We don't have debts that are in collections, and are pretty tired of these rubes who call everyone in the phone book with the same last name as the debtor.
