My co-worker received a call from my work from a Michelle Allen. She said she was sending me legal documents to my work. (1-866-399-0189) The next day I received a message on my home phone saying that she received a complaint that I had wrote a bad check and that it is my legal right to contact my plaintiff at the above number. Very odd!!! I have not written any bad checks. Has anyone had this problem.

My I got the same call on my phone. they were searching for my wife. they also say it is in regard to a fraudulent check & that she has the right to contact the plaintiff who is "American". What kind of company is this? sounds funny to me...

My stepmom got a call for me from this number also.  They told her I was going to be arrested if I didn't call them back and settle a "case".  Funny though - there is nothing on my credit that would indicate I have a bad debt out there.  I don't owe anyone anything!

I just got the same call saying that a complaint was filed for writing bad check! which I can't tell you the last time I wrote a check. and told me in firm voice that I have been notified LOL  Sounds like a scam

i recieved a call from "micheal Jones" from this number that a summons was trying to be delivered in reference to a bad check. Gave me a case # to call the plantiffs office with. What a joke! When my girlfriend asked him what county, he said pennsylvania. She said not state what county and he just said pennsylvania. I searched all the county websites nothing is owed!! If it was truly the court they could just search to find your address by your license # and mail it to you. be careful !

I got this call as well advising that they had my address and obviously knew where I worked because that is where they were calling me.  I called the "plaintiff's" office, spoke with a woman who told me that I owed $435 to two different loan companies.  They had my birthdate, last 4 of my social, old banking and address information..... very nerve wracking if this really is a scam.  I asked for the names of the loan companies, and one did sound familiar but not the other - 911 Quick Loan ?  I told her I'd check to see what I could locate because I know I've taken out a loan, but am more than confident that it was payed back in full.  I couldn't locate any information regarding the 911 Quick Loan on the web, so I called back asking for contact information for the company that believes that I owe them but she didn't have anything.  She tells me that she's googling them now, and if I check the results of the search, there is one similart that is most likely them.  Are you kidding me???  Everything just seems really strange......

My Niece recieved a call from Rodney Daniells 866-399-0189 indicating that I have a summons out for me for issuing bad checks. That I need to contact there office because the sheriff will be coming for me. I called the number and the women Mary stated that I have been writing bad checks in Pennsylvania and I do not live there, advised that she has the wrong person, and she continued on, the one thing that stopped me is when she said my ss# and some address that is not connected to me. So I went to my bank and we reviewed my account, see to there surprised I don't have a checking account only savings? so its a fraud you just have to be so careful now a days because people can get your informations and just run your information to the ground. Be careful out there and keep your information safe....

I have been getting call about some money i owe and i have set up payment arrangements and now that money has been taken from my account i try to contact these people and no one will call me back or even send me paperwork.
