Called themselves ERS, threatened to have my wages garnished. I have reported them to the Attorney General

Just received this call. Left a message since I don't answer any unknown numbers. Said it was for '...' (my son), saying it's regarding a case they just received with his SS attached to it and for wage garnishment. Hmmm... and he has to send a note... ????..
Yea.. um.... no!  Going to report to ftc.
I list it as unknown caller since I didn't hear it unless it was the first two words the woman mentioned; she sounded like she was eating!!

Called my mom's house telling her that they were going to send a Sherrif and garnish my wages if I didn't pay "my debt". They wanted me to go to a Walgreens and use some wire service by 4pm that day.

I've been debt free for the past 5 years and haven't lived w/ my mom for the past 15, lol.

Had a voicemail from Kelly Levine stating she had rec'vd a fax & mentioned my ss# & possible garnishment. The caller id# was 866-399-5669. In the msg, she left 888-685-4682 as her contact #. I called 866-399-5669 & the woman who answered stated her client was considering garnishing for the amount of 15,000 on a Honda Element I had owned 10 years ago. I advised that was dismissed in a Bankruptcy several years ago. She said she will pass the info on & courts will notify if they decide to garnish. Uh, WTF?! I work in Collections (ironic, eh?) and once a charge has been dismissed in a BK, it is uncollectable .

Received a call from this number.  Same message about a possible garnishment - but for my ex-husband!!  Told whoever answered to take my name out of their system.  We'll see...

Received a call saying they received paperwork with my SSN attached. They said if I didn’t respond by 5:00 today they would garnish my wages

Another scam artist phone number in a variety of them that these vultures have on a rolodex and seriously, when the hell is Congress and these telecommunication companies finally going to wake up and prosecute these vandals and peasants to the highest degree?! Another number going to the blocked list.

It’s also against the law to call once it has been dismissed through bankruptcy court!!
