    I got an anyomous call from someone that stated he was from the parish criminal court records department and they were getting ready to file charges against me -  that the law states they have to notifiy me of the plantiff and gave me the number 866-399-6393  -  when you call it states it is Regional Financial Investigations - all automated - I've  never been able to get anyone on the phone  - anyone have any ideas

    These people are crooks.  They called and identified themselves as being from the local court criminal records division.  They did not even state the name of the county correctly!   I spoke with a lawyer and unfortunately they are not registered as a debt collection agency so they are not bound by the FDCPA.
