Is it OSAP after your student loans maybe?

I got a call from this phone number, however the number never showed up on my phone.  It showed unknown name and number.  Their was a message left. My myself in my maiden name.  I called the number.  They do not say who they are, just says wait for the next representative.  A representative gets on the phone.  I give her my phone number.  She says to me you have an outstanding Fido bill of $800 or so, again only gives her name not company.  She asks me when to I intend to resolve the matter.  I cannot pay the whole bill right now and I do not know when I am.  She was very rude and obnoxious with me and told me she will call everyday until this is resolved.  I do not intend to call them again.  I am not paying the bill anytime soon. Especially to a creditor I do not know, so they can get my information?  I do not think so.

This is definitely not OSAP for student loans, it is some creditor claiming they are a creditor so they can get your info.

what happend was it shows up as unknown... Finally they left a message saying to call that 1-866-399-6841 # . no name was left, nothing. Just for me to call that number today before 6pm. ? Sorry but i aint calling someone who i dont know...

yeah i got the same case here ...I got a call from this phone number, however the number never showed up on my phone.  It showed unknown name and number.  i really wanna find out what company is after this ... also have the authority to remove this association .. i will appreciate anyone can help . The caller keep leaving a message to my family and ask my wife to call back at this number 1-866-399-6841

i am receiving call from this number. When my wife who attended the phone ,asked , what it was about, she was told it was about a personal matter related to me and they cannot give her any information. They make it sound so serious. I would like to know what company is behind this number.

someone from this # called me unknown and left me a vm stating that i needed to call them back at the above # b/c they need to talk to me about my financial record it is very important.

My bro got a call for me today, and they left this phone number and a reference number. Apparantly, it's NCO financial.

Some woman calls 2 times daily for the last 2 days now, and since you ask them who are you looking for they give you a name and then you ask them what is the call about and she says its a PRIVATE MATTER, this happens once in the morning and once in the afternoon. My best advice is either scream at them till they hang up or just hang up on them. Some people have nothing better to do than bother people!

I got this unknown number call this afternoon.  A woman with a serious voice tone left a message saying that it is important to call back this number before 9pm.  

Anyway, I don't owe even a penny to any organization or what-so-ever.

this ball breakin' [***] named hillary called my house and left a rude and terse, barely understanable message that I had to listen to 4 times because she spoke so quickly and ran all her words together. when I called them back, i asked the girl who answered who they were and why they were calling me...she said they were NCO but it turns out they were looking to speak with a guy who shares the same last name as me but who doesn't live here. when i told her that hillary should slow down and be more plainly spoken and more polite when she leaves msg's for people, she challenged me as to how it was possible to be rude in a voicemail msg....DUH??? then she got real snippy with me, so i told her never to call me again and that they can all go to HELL!! eat S#&T hillary and NCO!!

I get a call from 1-866-399-6841 daily & I never pick up as i know these must be telemarketers, so i let it go on my ans. machine so what it does is it goes on & on in french I don't understand. As i was going thru this webesite i understand that its some kind of collection agency but i don't own a penny to any company in canada whatsoever cause i always pay my bills on time & in full someone shld really do something.

I'm getting calls from this # also if they call you more then 4 time they can get in S*IT anyways they NEVER leave on the voice message what company they are calling from&i think it's from Fido.

I got a call from this number saying it's an important matter and they gave me a reference number. I know it's a collection agency (NCO) from reading the posts above, but I'm not aware of any debt that I owe to anybody. If it's fido, I've paid my bill a long time ago and have nothing owing on that account! I don't like receiving calls like these. Maybe they should be reported, but to who?
