Received a call from a pay day loan company (name was unintelligible) soliciting trying to give me a loan that I had "applied for." Wanted Banking Information.

Obviously since I didn't apply for this I didn't give the info.

Sounds like a scam company trying to prey on the gullible to me.

My advice would be to just not give them your information at all.

The lady said she was from Puritan Financial Group and calling regarding my recently requesting supplemental insurance information under Medicare.   I don't think I did that since I already have
supplemental insurance.  She said she was calling for Medicare or was a representative of Medicare and represented my insurance company. She wanted my birth date that I didn't give her..that was to make sure I was eligible. I said what date do you have?  She didn't have that information. Eligible for what?  If calling for Medicare or my insurance company, they would already know I am eligible and of age and know my birthdate!    She wanted to know if I paid more than $75 a month. I said I already had insurance. She would update her records.   So she was not calling as a representative of Medicare.  She was calling to sell insurance is my bet.  She got no information from me. That is false advertising and is being used to bait people by saying they "represent" the government program or are working for my insurance company (although she didn't name my company or any other one).

I received a call from this number stating they were calling/representing a Republican senator challenging the Democrat who is up for office.

Didn't say anything. Line is always busy when I try to call it back.

Keep getting this call and no answer and when i call this number nothing

Got a call from 866-399-9771 but i  didn't answer. No message. Will mark as spam.

I received a call from it today and they just let it ring twice and hung up on their own.  I did a search and ended up here so if they call you don't answer it.
