A recorded voice left a message saying they were "Ellie" calling from CHN, and they were looking to receive information about me.  The did not say what kind of company they were, or what kind of information they wanted.  They called around 1pm, CST.  Left a reference number.

I got the same message @ 8AM CST.

I got the same call, but it's strange... they called for my dad.  There is no reason that they should have MY number for my dad.

Did you get into an accident recently and end up in the ER?  Apparently they're calling to get the other party's insurance info to send them the bill or something like that.

I was in a motorcycle accident and ended up in the local ER and had some surgury performed on my leg.  I received a call from CHN, unsolicited, asking for infomation about me.

I called the number and it was because my son was at the hospital and he has no insurance and they thought a third party might be responsible. I guess they get the info from the hospital trying to get help with the bill.

This is Cardon Healthcare Network. The 866 number is just the automated phone system. In my case, they are the group that makes sure the correct people get billed after I had a vehicle accident. I contacted the hospital and got the direct number for them and everything checked out.
