Its a scam attempting to get your social security number to commit identity fraud.

Same as above.

Left a message on a relatives cell phone saying they were calling regarding a "Notice of Intent" and left a file number.  Said they had an old 571 number under a name I never use.  This is definitely a SCAM!  These people hack into computers get personal information and sell it time and time again.  The bottom line is they want you to "settle a made-up debt" by sending them money or giving them a checking account number.  DON'T DO IT AND IGNORE THESE CALLS!!!  Report these types of calls to the FBI and Police Fraud and Scam division.

These people helped me get rid of an old debt I had, they were really nice and accommodating to my situation .

Then you should no problem problem providing the name of the company, and their legally verifiable address, right?

Got same message - stating will come to resident or place of employment to serve some type of notice. The message was left on my Google Voice number which I only use for placing ads and the Web. Any REAL company would have had my REAL phone number. Obviously it's a scam.
