Mike Murphy called asking to speak with my boss, saying is was not case related, but was returning my bosses call to him.  My boss said he did not recall placing a call to Mike Murphy.  Therefore, I did not put him through.  (Now I see all these complaints for this number.)

I also just received a call (on 1/10/08) from an "Andy Perry" who said he was with "First Republic" and that he was a stock broker with them and had received the ok from me to call me when he had an "interesting stock pick."  He told me his phone no was 1-866-403-2078.  I get these calls (the first ones) all the time and I NEVER agree to be called again later with an "interesting stock pick".  Thus his comments were "duh" a lie.  I complained several years ago to the ny attny general about this tactic in general  and first republic in particular but all to no avail.

Hey John,

  When we first spoke you indicated that you would like to hear back from me with an interesting stock pick.  Its too bad for you that you didn't let me pitch you.  I was buying Harman International Industries (HAR) on 1/10 for $70.  Take a look at where the stock is today; you should have invested with me!  Better listen to my recomendations the next time I call John.  I am the man!

"Hey [Nickname], it's Mike Murphy, give me a call at the office, the number again is 866-403-2078 Thanks."

This guy just called and asked for my boss by name when I told him he was on another line  so he wanted his voice mail I told him I would take the message and he left the name Bob Estevez and the number 866-403-2078. I only googled it because I could hear lots of background noice (phones ringing and lots of people talking) which is usually a telemarketer.
And found this site.

I'm glad I found this website! I received a call TWICE within 10 mins of eachother from this number. The first person "Will Jiggetts" was sounding like a cocky Mr. Knowitall who claims to know the Attorney I work for. When you answer the phone, he breathes all hard as if he is someone important. Then he says "He knows me I spoke to him recently etc" Then another 10 mins later, the EXACT SAME PERSON called looking for another attorney that works here, except he tried to lie and say his name was "Paul Cammareri". Some people just have crap for brains! Next time they call, I'll give them a mouthfull!

I guess he thinks people will think he is related to Emilio or have a vague recollection of his name and call back. No information as to company given.

Received calls from Mike Murphy, Will Jiggets, and Paul Cammareri, all claiming to be known personally by my boss. Didn't pick up on it at first, but now I always take a message and it is the same number, 866-403-2078.

Got a call from Joe Martin today about some stock. Asked to be removed and he became belligerent and argumentative. Obvious telemarketing stock deals.

I just received a call from this exact person, Will Jiggets....he too asked for my boss and when I asked what company he was from and what this was regarding, he immediately said, he will know what it's regarding and left the exact number. What a scam artist!

Call today from a Mark Gordon. When I asked for his company name, he said "FRG." When I asked what case the call related to, he said, "Not a call about a case; it's about Provident." He gave this number as a call back. I know it well, unfortunately.

PVX is a reasonable investment.  I doubt that you'll be told that starting in 2011 Canada will begin taxing Canadian trusts as corporations, thus subject to the 31.5% corporate income tax.  This is, and will continue to be priced into the stock and is a genuine risk.  Ask whoever recommends this stock to you about this.

I got a call from Joe Martin who said he knew my boss and wanted to chat.  He asked for voicemail and when I said that our practice was not to use voicemail during business hours, he became very condescending and snarky when giving me this phone number 866-403-2078.  I wrote down the phone number and immediately Googled it.  I suspected something was fishy, and now I know.  It stinks to high heaven.

1-866-403-2078.  Same stuff.  This time call was from a Grey Jones.  They are rude and horribly disrespectful when you call and inform them that you are not interested in what they have to offer.

I got a call from Bob Estevez at 'Eastbrook' asking for my boss and saying "he knows what it's about - we spoke earlier" - which I know for a fact is impossible since I know where my boss actually is and it's not anywhere he could be talking to this guy - so right off yeah - he's lying to me - which pisses me off.  Then I ask a couple of questions to see if he even has the right person - if it's a real estate broker I'll send him/her over to the right person at the firm - not my place to send this person away.  Come away from those questions with a "no it has nothing to do with that" and he wants voice mail (which - hey dudes, don't you know that all good assistants listen to the bosses voice mail for them?????) and he proceeds to leave a message "This is Mike Murphy call me at 866-403-2078."  I immediately google the number and here I am - Google must be kickin' their [***].  But you know, I'd give my boss the message and leave it up to him whether he calls back or not if they just weren't lying pieces of dung.  And as for the guy selling Harman at $70 - yeah it went up (briefly) but its at $42 today - your stocks rock all right - drop like a rock, that is.

Got a call from "Joe" asking to talk to boss, was not in, left number to call back - he spoke earlier.  

I have a "List" just don't give him the messages..
If they don't care about regulations per do not call list, oh well..... will never get through me!  Can keep trying....good luck!

Take a look at the performance of the REDE (now REDE.PK) pick from Feb 14th.  Where do these people get their ideas from?

I got two voicemails to my boss's mailbox today (I listen and email the details to him), both from this number (866-403-2078).  One was Mike Murphy, one was Craig Jones.  Mike's message was very 'buddy' sounding - like a college friend, Craig's was short and just listed his name and number.  Total crap.

My manager had received a voicemail from "Grey Jones" and asked me to call him back 866-403-2078.  When I called the number and introduced myself and the reason for my call, the man answering the phone stated firmly, "He was probably just soliciting stock."  I said, "Okay" and hung up.
