They keep call 3 to 6 times a day and when u call back the # it said that is not service

Don't answer! It's some kind of Walmart Scam... They offer you 4 services that will be charged to your walmart card, but it's really your credit card. They somehow only need the last 4 numbers of your credit card. They don't ask for routing numbers or anything like that.

Don't be fooled... It's a scam!

PLEASE READ!!!!!! THE INFO HERE WILL HELP YOU!!!!!! This is the 12th phone number to call me since January when Walk-Fit sold my information to all kinds of scammers. Whatever you do, don't give them any information. If they can verify your name, address, phone number, birthday and the last 4 digits of your credit card, they can steal your identity!!! And access your credit card account to take your money!!! Don't be fooled. You'll never see that gift they promise. If the caller has the last 4 digits of your credit card number, you should cancel your card just to be safe. Call your card company and tell them your card number has been compromised. They will be more than happy to issue you a new card and cancel the other. If you want these callers to stop bothering you, and you have caller ID, here's what I did to stop them. When you see their number on caller ID, answer the phone "HI". When they ask for you by name, tell them no one lives here by that name. Tell them you just got this new phone number and to stop calling. By law (and they seem to obey this) once they think the phone number doesn't belong to the person they are trying to talk to, they must stop calling. The person they are allowed to call doesn't have that number anymore and their call can now be considered harassment. So far it's worked and the calls have stopped for each number I did this to. And the total number of calls have dropped considerably. And FYI, here's a couple of things I've learn over the last 3 months of having these scammer call me. When you order something online like I did, read the fine print about their "Privacy Policy". Many online products, like Walk-Fit, Miracle Blades and The Snuggie have policies that require you to "opt out" of letting them give your information out. If you don't "opt out", they say in their policy that they WILL give out your information to "affiliates and third parties". And I call tell you, they give it out to everyone!!! And I also learned about "abandoned call". This is what happens. A computer is making all the calls for these scammers. When you answer your phone, the computer sees you have picked up and are connected. The computer then looks for a telemarketer to connect you to. If all the telemarketers are on the phone with other victims, the computer disconnects from you. This is illegal by FCC law. If this has happened to you, and I'm sure it has, go the FCC.com and file a formal complaint on the number that called you. I hope this helps everyone who reads it.

same thing here...best assessment of the situation is what VIRGINIA wrote...will try the FCC.com complaint as probably the last weapon in stopping these illegal calls.

Thank you for the explanation! I get calls from these [***] at least 5 times a day.  Sometimes as early at 6AM and as late as 11PM! My husband buys stuff over the internet all the time and I guess that's how they got our number, etc.

Matter of fact, I just answered the call not two minutes ago and "they" hung up on me.

they just called me again too.. I reported the numbers and they will monitor (FCC)   I get calls nearly daily and they always hang up

I thought that this is harrassment and phone mis use.. nevermind about do not call issues

this call i believe it was a scam he told he would send me 100 giftcard at walmart just for signing up for like a watchdog identity theft program and he already knew my last four of my card  at suntrust please don't trust. I already called and canceled my card so they will send me a new one. Damn scammers. He took my mailing address and just that

They're JAGGOFF'S, and NEED to be SUED, and or STOPPED........They let it ring twice on my phone, then hang up........When I call back, it's just a busy signal.........Not TOO important, huh???  I'd LOVE  to know WHO funds these people to take their time, money, phone bills, just to (in my estimation......HARASSS people on the other end).  The FCC needs to GET OFF THEIR [***] and DO SOMETHING........do I NEED to say anything MORE???????  Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get at least 3 or 4 calls daily on my cell from this number AND 866/330-8329. I always hit ignore...  Isn't there anyway to block them?? I'm going to the FCC website now to figure out how to file a complaint!!

My mom has been getting that number and 2 others, and they call her by her name she goes by not her first name,

she doesnt buy online, so how are they getting her number , etc.?

Same problems as everyone else seems to be having.  The fourth time they called today was the first time in 6 months+ that someone was on the other line.  I was so fed up from all the phone calls that I flipped out and demanded that they remove my number from whatever list it was on.  We'll see if that worked.

Did some googling and found out that the 8656-407 numbers are owned by Verizon and sold to third party resellers. They tell me that unless my number is listed on the governments do not call list they can do NOTHING and that they can continue to make calls. Verizon's "annoyance call" number is 800-333-0309. Do not Call list is at donotcall.gov
