This number is used by someone soliciting for a Dr Troy, a chiropractor, in the Omaha, NE area.  They obtain information about traffic accidents from public records.   In simple terms---an ambulance chaser.

I was in traffic accident yesterday.  Some car damage, no injuries that I know of...this is my 4th call before 10 am this morning...Hi this is Linda from the office calling about your accident yesterday.  Call me at 866-410-8765.  This is about the traffic accident....

That's it.  Annoying and rude and extremely unprofessional message!  I don't know name of company or business because she didn't say.

Yea, I got the same message from this Linda lady.  I feel like my # was stolen and my privacy has been violated.  Anyone can just call a cell# these days and harass you.  Its not fair.  Hope doesn't call again.

Definite "ambulance chasers". Husband drives a box truck at work and a car backed into the truck.  We got two calls within minutes looking for "Phillipo" (which is not his name) - once from a man with a private number and then from Linda at the 800#. and when I called back, Linda said they were seeing if he needed checked. We're in Cleveland OH area - I don't know who they are working for in this area.

I also got this same message from Linda.  I live in WI.  I thought it was the lady that I was in the accident with, but after reading these posts, I know that it wasn't.

This is ridiculous.  This "Linda" calls at least 3 times every single day since I got into an accident.  Not only that, she calls all hours of the day! Early morning, way late at night, doesn't matter to scammers! =\

Same story here.  Minor accident last week and keep gettings from Linda in a Chiropractor office.

Don't have any idea who she is or where this chiropractor might be located.  Looks like they're doing nationwide calling.  Must be a real scheme.

Didn't catch the call - looked it up here before I listened to the voicemail, just to check. It's the same thing - Linda calling about my accident. I was in an accident last Thursday. No injuries. I'm in Xenia, Ohio, why whould they be calling here?
They've called again before I even got this posted. This is going to be a pain if they keep this up.

Received a call from this number, left message stating that she was "Linda from the accident". I was recently in an accident, but came to look up the number because I figured no private individual would call from an 866 number. Definitely will not be calling back.

We're in Arkansas. My wife was in an accident a few days ago, and we have been getting calls from "Catherine about the accident" similar to the messages described here from "Linda." Very vague and annoying. How do we stop this kind of call?

I'm from the Cleveland, Ohio area as well.  "Linda" left me a message too.  I responded and within 5 minutes, I received a call from 216-654-1105.  I traced the call to a MCI landline in Independence, Ohio.  "Vickie" tried asking me some personal information about my accident and my physical condition.  I referred her to my lawyer and she hung up right away!!

Received this call on my cell with caller ID showing as 330-441-4258 and saying to call back 866-410-8765. Same message as others. "Hi this is Linda calling regarding the accident" except she spoke really fast and lazily and I could barely understand what she said until I read these other calls with same message. I was in a small vendor bendor a few weeks ago and there is no reason anyone should be calling me regarding this. I don't know how they got my information.

Me too! I was in accident last week in WI. The phone number that my VM got was a VoIP number. I knew the number of the other female in the accident and wasn't Linda. So I looked this up. If they are from OH, what the hell are they doing calling WI people? Dumbasses!

The number that came up on the my phone was (330) 299-4823. It's a VoIP from OH. She spoke super lazily in my message too.

A family member was involved in an auto accident two weeks ago. Claims have been filed and our car has been fixed. However, we keep getting calls from Linda 866-410-8765 who has questions about the car accident. When I questioned her about which company she represented, she became rude and hung up. I called the other insurance company to see if Linda worked for them. No, she does not. I called Linda back and left a message for her that unless she had a legitimate reason for calling us to never call back and that I was going to pursue filing a complaint with the New Mexico attorney general's office.

Also received a call from Linda at unconventional hours. After reading messages will not respond. She stated it was regarding "the accident". Must have received info from Police Report filed for minor car accident.

I also got a call two weeks after a minor accident. The call showed up on my cell as 330-299-4823 (Ohio) and the vm left by Linda was with the 866 number, but the name and business info left was garbled. When I called back I got Linda and could barely understand her...asked several times who she was and what she wanted, but didn't get much intelligible info. Total scam!
