This number was left as the number to return a call. They were looking for my sister and asked for her by her maiden name. They advised they were calling from Process Service Dispatch and gave a case number advising this was urgent regarding “pending action filed against” her.

Rec'd the same message today as previous person.  Looking for my husband on my cellphone. Her name was Jacqueline and said it was "an urgent message calling with Process Service Dispatch, calling to notify an attempt will made at last known residence to issue a notice of action or complaint, if you will not be available, or have any questions or concerns, contact the issuing off at 866-413-0272 and reference case # xxxxxxx, blah blah blah, failing to contact the issuing office may result in the proceedings to take place without your knowledge.  You've now been notified and this does require immediate attention"

Someone called my daughter asking about me my name last name and my SSN I answered her phone it’s was a male he gave me 8664130272 this # and some case # to call ASP I did  .  Lady  introduces them self low firm and telling me I have a opened credit card for 3000 now it’s 5000 they going to su me I need to take action. Who is this people how they know my personal information???

I got same message from 866 413 0272 # today..I have no clue what it could be in reference too..I'm thinking it's scam..

Debt Extortion Scammers

Carrier Services and Process Servers do not know what is contained in the documents they are paid to serve/deliver. Anyone explaining what they are delivering, saying "matter attached to your SSN", "you have officially been notified"  or offering an alternative "solution" to avoid delivery is a scammer.

The vague scare tactic message is designed to panic a victim into calling back.

Most debt collectors will use a certain amount of pressure to convince you to pay the debt. After all, they often don't get paid unless you pay. Be suspicious of a debt collector who uses an unusual amount of pressure to get you to pay immediately, particularly if they also use scare tactics to get you to pay right away. For example, a debt collector is scamming you if it :

• threatens you with a lawsuit and tells that you can avoid the lawsuit by paying right away
• Says a Process Server  or Courier is coming with papers to sign
• Threatens to call / go to your place of employment
• Insists you have been notified, served or are non-compliant via phone message(s)
• Refuses to give a company name or verifiable Contact source
• Refuses to send proof of debt via US mail

A sure sign of a debt collection scam is a collector that wants to you to pay via wire transfer or another method that can't be traced. If the payment method can't be traced, you'll have a harder time getting the authorities involved.

If the creditor sounds completely foreign, or you know you never had an account with that business, there's a chance it's a scam. Never pay a collection you don't recognize. You have the right to request written proof of the debt from the debt collector before you send payment.

Total scam. I called them and They said it was in reference to my discover card. I said I’ve never had one. Then he said well it’s a retail card like Walmart. I said I’ve never had that either. Then he hung up on me.

Just got this voicemail about my sister-in-law with her address saying they are from our county and are going to serve papers or whatever.
