I keep getting a call from this number and I answered and it was a guy named "Ben Brewer" who was trying to sell me advertising on Channel 4 news website for $125/month. He was extremely pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer, so I'm guessing it's a SCAM and he probably got my info from a Craigslist ad I posted since he knew I was a general contractor. I wouldn't give any personal info out.

Left a message on my voice-mail saying he was Ben Brewer from WHAS News and said he wanted to feature my company on the front page of the WHAS Channel 11 (Louisville, KY) website.  Asked me to give him a call back.  Pretty slick trying to sound like a reporter not a telemarketer.

Same thing - except this call came from someone named Olia who wanted to get me on WGSB Channel 10.  I'm in SW Florida and WGSB is in North Carolina - sounds like just another telemarketer with a better mousetrap !

Got a call from Olia, she was trying to feature me on 13wmaz site for the holidays. Called back and went to vm, she is trying to sounds like she works for 13wmaz. she must have got the info off yelp

Got the same call from Olia. She left a vm saying that she wanted to get me featured on WFAA Ch. 8 and that only one spot was available.  Thanks to everyone else who posts about these things-- it helps!

Got a call from Olia ... said she wanted to feature our company on channel 9 news ... looked this up before returning call ... I'm not going to bother now - thanks for all the posts.

I received a call from this same number but it was from a woman. She too was from the "news" kare 11 and wanted to feature my businesses. I was all happy and called her back all geeked n stuff. Now I'm mad cause I thought I was going to get some recognition.

Olya called wanting to feature the salon on CBS 12. Caller ID popped up as "Toll Free"
I knew it was a scam due to Caller ID, but I still wanted to look up the number. Since I rather be safe than sorry.

Just received a call from this number stating that her name was Olia and that she was with KHOU Houston and that they wanted to promote my business for $229 a month and they only had one spot available for our services. She was pushy and I did not bite. Stated that they checked our ratings and everything. Almost believable but I'm cautious.

Received a message about FAKE ADVERTIZING being sold on 11 Alive (dot) com. Scammer for sure, you could tell she was reading a script

Olyah called and left a Voicemail, saying they were promoting one biz in the palm springs area, She said she's Calling on behalf of KESQ ch 3. I almost fell for it. Until I looked up the scumbag SCAM.....

This number called and said it was for the channel news! It IS a scam!

Called stating she was from Channel 4 news and looking to advertise my businesses on their website. $368 per month.
