866-414-1507

This is a complete and total scam!!! I fell for it. Betty Thompson leaves a message, leaves some BS reference number, you call back and I reached a thief named Alex.  I have never ever been gullible but because he sounded trustworthy, I fell for it.  The minute after I gave some personal info, I googled them while I was on the line.  SCAM!! I hung up, they call back from a cell number 949-527-6489 and I told them I believe they are a scam.  He said no no, etc.  They have been reported to the Federal Trade Commission, and because my personal info was given, this will be pursued until they are shut down and no one else can be scammed by these frauds!!!

Same thing happened to me but she had two different names on two different days, with two different reference numbers. Clearly a scam

Someone named Betty called stating, My student loan was transferred,and a reference number was left on my voicemail.  Dont call them back...scam

I keep getting these voicemails from Betty Thompson talking about my fed student loans and leaving ref # 70705. thankfully I looked this up before i called back. such b.s. that people are scamming much less scamming students.

Same as above, Betty Thompson called from 442-205-1758 and left a message to call 866-414-1507 about my student debt. What's weird is my phone didn't even ring, I suddenly had a voice mail. I didn't call back. I have no student debt anyway.

Just got this same call at work. Betty Thompson called from 920-320-0713. Left a message with reference no. 70705 telling me to call back 866-414-1507. Glad I looked it up as well. Don't do it!

No ring on the cellphone but got a signal that there was new voicemail. There was a message from Betty Thompson about student loan, with reference number 70705. I don't have a student loan, but thought JUST MAYBE they had misinformation, but decided to google the number first. Ha! I see I'm not the first

Just got a call from 458-256-4760 from Betty Thompson stating that I needed to call back to discuss my federal student loan repayment option due to some recent changes.  Number to call back wsa 866-414-1507, and to use reference number 70705.

Got the same message from Betty Thompson from a 315 area code number.
I called an 866 number back and the guy on the other end sounded like an idiot so it was a red flag.  I hung up on him and he kept trying to call me back.  Then I googled and saw everyone else's experience and didn't fall for it.
