Called the number after I rec'd a call from a Johnny Johnson telling me I had been notified I would be served within 3 days and needed to present 2 forms of ID. I was curious and called the number left, 866-415-2721. Spoke to a gentleman named Shapiro (didn't catch the 1st name)
This is the legal department for a collection agency. While their tactics are scummy, they are just a collection agency. Depending on your state's collection laws, what they are doing may be illegal. For me, they were trying to find someone I don't associate with. Told them to bugger off and find that person on their own.

Called the number back from the message.  The original number was 833-210-2561 with the same message as sick of scammers.  Stating this is the second attempt and will be at my home or employer between 3-5.  Called the number on the message 866-415-2721 and after they identified my number to my name put me on hold for over 5 minutes, hung up and called again and the lady stated she was getting everything together she needed to say to me?  Then proceed with the bogus claim from 2 years ago that I had paid off in full!  When I told her this she then proceeded to interrupt me and scream at me.  I again told her no, this was already taken care of and again screamed at me and I hung up with her screaming my name.  Really?

Never received a call, only a voicemail. Voicemail was from Johnny Johnson and the exact same phone number 866 415 2721 telling me that this was the second call and that they will be at my home and or place of work between 3 to 5 today. He thereby was notifying me of this incident as his second attempt before sending me to legal. Scam scam scam.

left me a vm saying that i have been legally notified twice now and that they have papers that will be delivered between 2-5pm at my home or work. LOL  Can't tell you how many of these calls I have had over many years and I have NEVER responded to one and NOTHING came out of any of them.  Don't let these scammers win! Ignore

this dude Johnny Johnson is busy busy busy between 3 and 5 :-)

Have these people calling me every day and leaving messages and now they call my place of employment and leave messages. Stating they will serve between 3-5 and that it was my second notice.
