I got a call today wanting me to do the same thing.  Saying that they wanted to see if I could be "moved up the ladder"  to not process credit cards through the bank anymore.  I am very skeptical.  I got the SAME fax number when I told them I was a home office and didn't want a rep to come over.

Got a call from The Funds Transfer Alliance today.  He said he was two steps higher than a merchant processing.  He said that we would save a lot of fees each month.  He wasn't asking us to switch, but that he needed verification and we would be automatically switched to his company.  He wanted us to fax our merchant statement from last month to make sure there were no call backs.  When I asked him about his website, he said it was thefundstransferalliance.com.  I looked it up while he was on the phone and there was no such website.  Then, I asked him about his address, and he said he was new and didn't know the address.  I said someone there had to know the address of the building since they report to work everyday!  He provided his phone # 888-535-3515 and fax #866-415-5031 and that he was in Phoenix, Arizona.  He knew my name, address, phone #.  He said his boss was in a meeting and that he'd call back with their physical address.  Very odd.

Received telephone call for owner of company. No message left.  They called the owner on cell number.  Told him they needed his merchant statements to show the amount of chargebacks.  He was to fax merchant statements to 866-415-5031.  Before faxing I called the number that Jamie gave 480-751-3853.  When the line was answered all the person said was Jamie.  I asked the name of the company and she hung up.  Doesn't sound very legitimate.

Calls  from The Funds Transfer Alliance are scams and misleading, if not illegal, marketing practices.

The caller asked my small business to fax my latest merchant services account statement to 866-415-5031.

I received the same call today from 480-751-3853 with a fax no of 480-753-4201 regarding FTA(funds transfer alliance).  The caller was Jaime.  She stated I had talked with her last year which I don't recall.  She wanted me to review my credit card statement with her for some potential upgrade.
