TC is correct, even though caller ID showed "Unavailable."  Left a message.  The caller identified himself by name and company, State Farm Insurance Claims Department.  Call was about a claim I had submitted.  Why doesn't my caller ID show "State Farm," instead of "Unavailable?"  (800Notes needs to add "legitimate business call" to its choices of Call Type.)

This phone number has showed up on my caller ID answering phone several times in the last thirty days.  Have no idea who "Unavailable" is ... so I do not answer my phone unless the name of the firm or person is shown and the return phone number is showed.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, HOWEVER, that does not do any good at all.

My sister was in a car accident in which I was involved as a passenger. I received a telephone call from this number above stating they were from State Farm and I would receive a check for $1825.00 for bodily injury within 5 days after I submit a signed form. They did not send check and when I called, they stated they did not receive the form in the mail. They told me to fax said form which I did. They then stated they knew nothing about the fax but it was probably in the hands of an Ellen Marcus who would handle this. She had the title, Claim Representative. I never could get ahold of this woman as she was never in her office when I called. They sent me a check under someone else's name which happens to be Rosalind Pete. This all sounds very suspicious.
