If you had a credit card, that used serviced by TransUnion Corp, it was a privacy issue.  They used or sold customers names for advertising.  It was a class action suit,  You were sent a letter and if you did not opt out, you were considered part of the lawsuit.  That is why you received the money.  I believer there was a check prior to this last final payment.

Two things.  First, why did you look up this number?  This thread has been dormant for 2 years.  Second, why are you telling someone who posted here in 2014 that their "check is good"?
