I received a call from this number saying he was Officer Paul ?? Time sensitive response if I don't call or have my attorney call the consequences are on me.

Same here. Wow I got scared and then I realize it may be a scam. Especially when the guy wishes good luck.

Me to I got really scared but then I asked him the companies name again and he said he was revenue Canada and so I told him I'm going to local authorities and run the number the toll free number is from level3.com they have another number on their site posted though. It's just a scam they do nothing now that the authorities are involved they won't answer my calls

I thought it was suspicious when he didn't know my name and the good luck wishes too.  Obviously, I didn't call the number back.  We really need to spread the word, especially to newcomers!

Obviously a scam. I called back and the same person from the recording answered: "CRA how may I help you?".
The nerve to tell us Good luck! on top of that. Wow.

There was a message left by this number by Officer Paul something.  The most annoying part is the call came in at 5:37 am...boo!  Scam

received It on my work voicemail of all places so of course I googled it.

there was another one about a year ago from supposedly an Ottawa area code.

Got a call just now (feb 28/17 @ 1.20pm EST) Officer Paul Tanner, don't even waste time on this. SCAM!!!!

What a joke. Just got this call. So clearly not CRA. They don't call, they send letters. They don't make threatening remarks. They called my work # which is not anywhere in my tax return. They don't mention the name of the person they are trying to reach. Just ignore it.

Got a call on my cell phone.  I have had this phone and number for five years and never had a call on it other than from a select few family contacts.  I had a few missed calls from this number last week, but forgot about that and answered without looking at the screen. It was a recorded message to call this number They said if I or my attorney do not contact them they wish me good luck "as the situation unfolds on you."  What a stupid phrase to end a call with from a place pretending to be the CRA.  I did not buy into this call from the outset.  I listened to the recording because I wanted to hear what this scammer had to say so that I could let others know.

I called back (using a block on my number), they said "you committed tax fraud right? Can I have your name". I said no and they said "okay ma'am, wait for the police to show up and arrest you, goodbye". WHAT A JOKE! They are obviously real people, so I wish police could somehow arrest THEM

"Paul"said I am under investigation for govt fraud, I said what is this concerning, he yelled what's the name of your lawyer, I said wait back the bus up, what is this concerning? He said go F*** yourself!! Hopefully not a government official. I wasn't impressed still am not! He is not a man he is an a**!!!!!!!

I called back was put on hold and hung up on twice, then he picked up the third time and said cra Seattle, I said did you say Seattle? I guess he recognized my voice and said go Fu** yourself and hung up!

Got a call also from this idiot. Its probably a scam from china. Told back to call a 1866 number which is chinas country code. Cra NEVER ask a person to call back a chinese number. Careful guys.
