- SharonThe just called me, I never answer; but they called three times in a row. So, I finally answered. They told me it was for a personal business matter and that I needed to listen. And then started off saying. "This isn't a scam, we're not trying to sell you anything. This is a personal business matter." Than, they stated that they wanted me to call them back. (Even though I just answered their call) I said well I won't and that to please stop calling. They were very rude, and wouldn't disclose who they were. Just that fact that they started off with stating that they weren't a scam, makes it seem even more like one.
- Caller: Unknown (they wouldn't disclose it. but on the caller ID it said "Managements")

- Gail replies to youngdaddy| 1 replyThey call me and I don't answer the phone. I thought I had blocked their number. I do not owe any money to anybody, except the usual bills. The guy who leaves the message is impossible to understand. I actually did talk to him before and he was extremely rude and told me he was a deputy sheriff and I was going to be in a lot of legal trouble. Said his name was Deputy Tom Smith. He had an extremely heavy Pakistani accent; therefore, I know he wasn't legit.

- johnI got a call from 866-418-5039, it may be collections for a Doctor, if it is, the Doctor said he would treat me for free, then I get a bill from someone else. Maybe the Doctor is a liar, after all he said he was from Boston, Ma. and I don't trust anyone east of the Mississippi River.

- Admittedly Indebted replies to chrisBe sure you get the name of whoever is calling you, and call the number back. You'll get a different operator, and if you are polite, they will get things straightened out for you.
I've had a lot of medical bills the past few years, and I've dealt with a lot of debt collection agencies. My experience with this number began negatively--they were calling my dad, and harassing him about my debt, without ever having previously contacted me. I called them back at the number on my dad's caller ID, and I spoke with a woman named Carol. After giving her the name of the guy who had been harassing my dad, we discovered that they were calling to collect on a bill from several years ago--a bill for which I had applied to the hospital's charity program. Apparently, my charity paperwork had been lost or misfiled, and the application never went through. Instead of harassing me for money, Carol offered to mail me the information needed to re-submit that paperwork to the hospital. She walked me through the process of filing for charity assistance to ensure that I would be able to gather and submit all of the appropriate information. She was very sweet, and very professional. - adamdidnt answer the call must been a scammer

- Tired of these calls--wanted to know my birthday, but would not tell what the call was about. I asked if it was a medical bill and the female asked if I had medical bills. I told her that I would not tell her my date or anything else over the phone. She hung up.
