Recorded message claiming to be "UK Account Services" gave me a 2nd phone number (1-800-294-3708) to call back to "verify information".  When I called the 2nd number, operator claimed ignorance of why the phone call was originally placed.

I received voice mail on 02/28/08 using the name Julie, (no company name) and requesting that I call her back and gave me the extension # 4202.  I called and there was a recorded message telling me to "please hold on, you're phone call is very important to us".  While I'm burning up my cell phone minutes for about 5 minutes, I receive another recorded message that my call had been forwarded to a different extension # ????. When I was transferred, I received another recorded message that they were not in.  I still have no idea who this Julie person is, what company? no last name?

U.K. Account Services is the finance and/or collection department for the University of Kentucky Emergency Department and/or it's other medical departments.  It's always Julie who calls me too, so I suppose it's probably the name they use no matter what their real name is.

They keep calling me to collect a debt owed by my ex-husband.  I'm now going to write a "cease and desist" letter.

The same thing happened to me. "I don't know why they called your fine" now about 3 weeks later I get another call with the recorded message and to call that number back.
