CALLER NEVER SAYS WHO THEY ARE CALLING FOR JUST SAY TO CALL BACK AT THIS NUMBER  I"M SICK OF THESE CALLS EVERYDAY AND NIGHT THEY NEED TO BE STOP

My Call is from NCS 888-831-6994.  Is this the same outfit that others are getting that is  most likely a scam?

I called today (11/29) and they say $367.52 is owed to PNC Bank which is formerly National City. We had acct with National City FIVE YEARS ago. NCO demanded payment arrangement today and I said I couldn’t make any arrangements until I checked into this further. I asked if they could mail or email something stating charges were due. He said they have mailed repeatedly as has the bank and we haven’t responded. I asked what they have for the mailing address and he gave me the XXX as address. I told him that address is almost 3 years old and gave him our current address. Then I said you should have the correct address since you have the current phone number and this number is not even in the same town as the address they have on file. Right, how would he have a current phone and not the current address? He said payment is due, it’s not their responsibility to keep our address current and collection attempts will continue. He proceeded to talk over me and hung up on me. Needless to say, I didn't make arrangements. I have no info to verify this is legit and this dude has the nerve to get an attitude with me.

They've been calling me for close to 2 years for a medical bill that was paid prior to them starting to call me.

This number keeps calling, saying this is an attempt to collect a debt. My credit is good and I am not behind on any bills!  It also gives a name "Corrie Roberts."  This call is a sham, and after reading the reports of others, Thieves and Liars!  Why isn't this place shut down?  It's a phishing scam.  Do not call them back, they are idiots!  don't give them a second of your time.

They stared  to call and says we own then,wich we do not owe, so we have no clue how they got us fone nunber.

I actually have set my home phone number as unlisted, but still! Don't know how and where they got our number from.
Is it anything to do with National City Bank or PNC? If it is, should PNC do anything about it? This is just so annoying...

The "reference number" that was given to me was 2M1ZPQ, I wonder if everybody gets the same thing, too?
I moved in to this new location recently and have a new home phone number which is also set as unlisted, but this NCO thing still got the number and keeps calling at random time. When they call they don't mention who it's for, if it's really a Debt collection company, shouldn't they know who they are calling to? Since I don't owe any debt, I figure it might be a scam and decide not to call back, but they really need to STOP calling!

I call them back and all the time and harrass them.

i dont answer any phone calls from any number i dont recognize, just like i dont open my door to any person i dont know. thanks to all for the info. i surely wont answer that number.

Received a call from this number asking for some women.. Informed them that she did not have this number did not live here. They in turn asked me how long I have had my number. I told them two weeks, told me that I was lying and that I shouldn't be a such a dead beat and pay my bills. I asked the idiot on the other end of the line what he said. He repeated that I should pay my bills and to stop being such a dead beat. I asked him if he "did you not hear me tell you that I am not the person you are looking for.

He again repeated that I was lying and that if I didn't pay my bills I would have criminal charges brought up against me... At this point I just started laughing at him... He asked me what was so funny.... And this is when I let him have it.. I said Ok let me get this right you are telling me that if I don't pay a bill that doesn't belong to me that you are going to send me to prision...  he said we'll I know your lying and I know you are  Mrs. so and so... and yes if you dont pay your bill I can send you to prison,,,,

Ok jack wade let me tell you something now... You have just made a big mistake. Let me tell you a few things . 1. what you just said to me was agaist the law. You can not threaten me with inprisinment for not paying a bill that doesn't belong to me. 2. I now this for a fact because I use to work the same job you do 3. put me on your do not call list, if you call here again I will have your company and you up on charges so fast your head will spin. he hung up on me

this was three days ago. this morning at 6 am I received a call from the same number, it was a women this time and she asked for this someone that does not live here.(same name) I asked her if she new what time it was she said yes. I then asked her if she knew that she was not allowed to call befor 9am she argued this point with me. I then informed her that I had worked a simular job and that I knew that it was not alloweed to call befor 9am and then told her that I only had the number for two weeks and that I was contacting the fcc in regareds to the harrasing phone calls and threats and at this point she hung up on me..

bad company my advice is to block there calls and contact the fcc.  I know  most of the tricks these companys try to use to try and collect a debt. These companys don't care who pays the debt as long as they get there money..

i have set and read and a lot of the post ...99% of then talk about the same issues i am having from this same so called NCO Financial System .....however i have got a whole list of 800 numbers that are linked back to them so i thought i would post them here so that others will be forewarned not to answer the calls.....

Stop this phone Number from calling.  They call everyday right at 9 in the morning and several times a day and on Saturday.  I want nothing to do with this company or Phone number.  Please remove me from there list.

I would like them to stop calling me.  I have nothing to do with them and it is getting annoying.

I got a call from 866-426-4288 at 0830 on Saturday 16July2011. It was a recording in spanish. I hung up and called back. The man who answered was obviously in a pissed off mood judging by tone. He did his opening. Then I started to ask why I was called by a spanish recording and he IMMEDIATELY started yelling and demanding information. NOW I was mad and said 'no' and started demanding who they were and what he was talking about. That only made him angrier and he yelled more and demanded information and was saying that I need to make a payment. I hung up.

I called back to make a complaint and to find out what was going on. The next one was at least calmer. He gave his intro. Then I asked for a supervisor. He asked if he could help. I said no and asked for a supervisor again. Then he hung up on me. I dont know who these people are, Or what they want. After google-ing thier number I went to https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-866-426-4288. Then after reading some of that I came here and am filing a complaint.
