I just turn my stereo up really loud playing Pantera, put the phone on speaker and shove it right up against the stereo and say please hold for the next available teller. That usually works for about a week or two.

This company has been calling me about a bill they never sent. I have answered the phone each time and gave them the correct address but still no bill. I asked them to fax over a copy of the statement and they said no that they don't have a copy. How am I to pay a bill without any statements?

maybe if you search on your phone you will find a place to block calls you don't want, I did.

these people call my cell every day for my x and i told them i dont know where he is and quit calling my number well they still call and i was actually on hold for 60 mins one day how do you get them to stop

NCO? Financial. Debt collector. Cant decide if real or scam because I was, but am not currently, behind on a hospital bill. Judging by the other posts here, I'm going to believe its a scam, though. They call ALL THE  TIME. Several times a day, at random. Late, early, doesn't matter. Typically it leaves an automated voice mail on my cellphone spelling my last name saying its a private call and attempt to collect a debt etc. There isn't always a message left though. I cant block numbers on my phone and this is getting out of control.

I get a call from this number at least once a day on a prepaid tracphone.  When you call it says NCO Financial...collecting a debt.  I owe no one at this company and have never heard of them.  This call uses precious minutes on a phone I can barely afford.

Contact your cell provider.  They might be able to block the number.

We have a brand new business am are getting over 7 calls per day from 866-426-4288. It is a voice mail message that says to ask for Mr. Roberts. When I try to call back the phone never answers. It is discrupting my business to the point I need to have this stopped.

If you decide to contact any of the above, just make sure you do your research well and get the right person.  You don't want to be accused of harassing someone......

BTW,  NCO Financial is harassing me and so far have failed to make USPS contact.  I'm not sending anybody anything from contact on the phone alone.  Prove that I owe what you say I owe.

Thank you all for this information.  I just received a voice message telling me to call Mr. Roberts at 866-426-4288 regarding a debt collection. I don't owe anyone and, after having a panic attack, was concerned it was a scam, hence, my google search for their phone number.  I certainly won't call them back.

This is a debt collection agency that harasses me on federal holidays and weekends about a debt that I did not generate.  I have asked them multiple times to stop the calls to no avail.

this company calls my house 10x's a day, my mom has been sent to them for collection from a hospital. I offerd them x amount of money per month, my mom is disabled, and they refused it. And the only way they will take a payment is with a bank draft.

They call our landline and leave a number to call but I have waited over 15 minutes at this point and have it set to record all this to the FCC and will fill out complaint to ftc.gov. lets all do the same I owe nobody that requires collections. So the ftc.government and FCC.government will make money by fine into them! Report them each time remember federal trade commission and federal communication

I am getting these calls from NCO for a bill and I do not know what they are talking about. I have been told that they are trying to still my ID and that people have been stolen from and the credit ruined because of it. They say to ask for Mr. Roberts  

I want this stopped today. They do not have the right to be calling me at all.

THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME ALL THE TIME, I CALL THEM TO VERIFY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY DON'T HAVE MY NUMBER ON RECORDS, SO THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR THEM TO CALL ME; BUT THEY DON'T STOP. THIS SITUATION IS ANOYING. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Just got the same thing. Ask for Mr. Roberts from the 866-426-4288 number about two doctors bills that my wife has never been to. Let alone they said the dates where from 8 and 10 years ago. They hung up on her when they asked for her social number, and she wouldn't give it, after they gave her the wrong last four of it. When I called back and talked to Allison she was rude right off the bat, wouldn't talk to me, and said they couldn't talk to me by federal law. When I gave the phone to my wife Allison right away asked for the last four of her social, and when she wouldn't give that, Allison automatically hung up. The really bad thing is they used a actual doctors name that is in our area. This place should be shut down and all parties involved need to go to jail.

ALWAYS record every conversation with debt collectors. Inform them that you are recording., if they don't like it they can hang up and stop calling. Force them to abide by the FDCPA. Demand a letter of validation for any alleged debt. Refuse to pay any debt that is past the statute of limitation. If no debt is legally owned send certified letter to cease and desist contacting you. Research the FDCPA. File complaints against them with your state attorney and their state attorney, file complaints with the FTC. Sue for any violation of the FDCPA. Lawyers will take these cases on commission.

We received a call @ 7:01pm - referring to a unpaid bill, we have no clue - why this person would call -Probably yet another Telemarketer ! Not falling for it !

Here,we go again ! I was told to call 866-426-4288 and ask for a Mr. Roberts,as soon as possible ! I will NOT call, some Con-Artist trying to rip off me or anyone else !  I believe the FDC, should be investigating these cons ! Now I am receiving these Harrassing phone call -every 2 days !
