They call my house 2-3 times a day and when I answer there is no one there. When I let it go to the answering machine they never leave a message, it's really annoying.

Thank you!!  They are a debt collector, and a very aggressive debt collector that uses harassment, and known illegal practice.  They are all over the internet.  The reason some of the posts say telemarketer, is because they are trying to collect information by lying in the hopes that you know the person they are looking for.  Do not talk to them at all.

yes there is but keep in mind, they are a debt collector not a telemarketer.  just type in their name, there you will find many ways to report them and even collect from the harassment.

The company name is Dial Unterstate. It is a collection agency. They are calling my number which I've had since being married over 19 years ago, and using that number to reach a person I bought the house from 12 years ago. They will not stop, unless you call them back from a DIFFERENT NUMBER. Then you can speak to someone to have the number taken off the list. I spoke to a guy name Ryan who was very nice and professional.

This number keeps calling my (minor) son's cell phone every day, he doesn't answer and they never leave a message. He has no debt, so I'm assuming it's a wrong number. I doubt they'll take his number off their list, however. Harassment, plain and simple.

this number when called back comes back to allied interstate a collections agency, and they called me regarding a family member that does not live with us and has never lived with us. so they took my number off

Android has a call reject option.  I'll never be bothered by this # again.  Problem solved.

Stop calling 10 times a day. Take me off your list. Put me on your do not call list

These guys are true predators.  They are relentless harassers, have no respect for our rights, the law, and don’t care about how they are viewed by any of us.  They will call from multiple 866 numbers on the same day.   They may have a few legitimate collections in their bag of tricks, just enough to make them look legal, but the vast majority of what they do is to falsify information and try to scam us into paying for a bogus debt.

These thugs did not learn their lesson from their settlement with the FTC a couple years ago and are not following the consent decree that bars them from using the illegal tactics.  Unfortunately, they probably make enough money from people who succumb to their threats that they can easily pay the standard fines that can be imposed on them by the FTC.  The FTC needs to make them pay a gazillion dollars or they won’t give up harassing us.   I for one am not holding my breath waiting for the FTC to act against these thugs again.

You will likely never receive a proper debt validation letter from them and without that; they would have an impossible time collecting lawfully.  If they do send you something in writing, reply with a letter like this example:  http://www.creditinfocenter.com/forms/sampleletter9.shtml

Best advice is to just don’t answer their calls.  Block their calls if you have a device or app that will allow you to do that.

I have been getting continuous annoying calls for at least 6 months or more from this number (866) 428-9877 leaving a voice mail that is asking for a persons first name that is not ours and the same last name as ours that has never lived in this household nor was ever affiliated to it.  They claim they are "Allied Global" that's doing an ongoing search for "debt collectons" (for which may be an attorneys office).  Normally we just let it go into voice mail since they must have a wrong number, but they just keep calling everday and on weekends too when we NEED TO REST...Apparently they don't care!  Today was the last straw, we answered the call let them ask for an individual that is not here nor was ever here, and we said don't have anyone by that name that lives here, never lived here!  STOP HARRASSING US!!!  She then said "I"ll remove you from our list".  

These crooks have been listed in this thread for almost 4 years now.  

Why are they still around, especially after having been fined big $$ by the FTC?  Answer - they are making a lot of money from their threatening scam phone calls (enough people succumb to their lies and fear tactics) that they can afford to write-off expenses for government imposed fines.

So, when will they stop harassing us?  Probably never.  

They continue to call me 2-3 times per day, have NEVER left a message or sent anything to me via mail.  I added them to my call blocker several months ago, so they get one ring before the hang-up.  This has deterred other robocallers, but not them.

I do get satisfaction when I review my call blocker’s hang-ups, see their numbers in the list, and know they cannot leave me a message, even if they wanted to.  

I find these pitifull scammers in my call blocked list every week.  They continue to call me after 7 months!  They are just too lazy to remove my number, but I'm glad they are wasting their call pennies trying to reach someone at my number.

They keep calling.  Asked them is it ok that the call is being recorded.  They said no.  So I told them our business is done and they hung up.

Calls are now blocked.   [***]!!

They bothering me

I get a call from this number two or three times a day and the one time  I answered the caller did not say anything, I said hello again and still no response I could hear noise as if it was a call center or 4 or 5 people in a room talking on the phone. I hung up and made note of the time of the call and the number.

Well, it appears they have a call cutoff threshold if you don't answer ANY of their calls.  After about nine months they finally stopped calling me (last calls were in December 2013).  

They called me hundreds of times during 2013 and never left a single message, nor did I ever receive a (fake) debt collection letter from the sub-human scums.

Don’t ever answer their calls, persistence pays if you want off their call list.
