This message is solely intended for an individual by the name of Dalton Elrich. My name is Diana Richardson I'm calling on behalf of Walker Blind and associates An important business matter of yours that has been forwarded over to my desk It is imperative that I do speak with you. Please feel free to contact me directly at 8 6 6- 4 3 3- 0 2 1 8 again 8 6 6- 4 3 3- 0 2 1 8. Direct extension is 1 1 1 thank you.…”

Tell me they have my SS# & I need to contact them or my lawyer should call to address this matter in Macomb county

Just had someone call my phone blocked telling me I have to call 8664330218 saying they have my ssn. And they called me twice.

Someone left a voicemail saying Kevin Woods give me a call let me have a claim I've been assigned to handle a client showing you missed a deadline date I said Pinellas County notice was sent to the address expecting me to set a new hearing date on this I am federally mandated to let you know that this claim I want the hearing aid is said it could lead to potential garnishment there if you or your attorney had any questions concerns or any intentions on getting this done outside of court I do need to call back before no later than tomorrow on the side have to move forward by tomorrow my number

Called saying they were trying to set a hearing date. Never stated his business or the reason he was trying to reach me besides threatening a hearing date. Called from a different number

The same person called me too and had my address. I called back and it went straight to his voicemail. Is this legit?

Is this legit? Kevin woods called me saying he was trying to reach me as a notice went out to my address (he gave me the correct address) and that the notice wasn’t responded to. So he was trying to reach me or my attorney as he has to send a date to the court by the end of this month (June 2025) if I don’t call him back

He said that my son is in some kinds of commercials breech.  That he will be served if he doesn't call him back in 24 hrs.  Also about need to appear in court for something not quite cleared.

I got the SAME message from them and was wondering if it was even a real thing

This appears to be a "Fake Process Server" scam which is often a lead-in for a "Fake Debt" scam.
They will say various things to threaten and worry you, but there are no letters, papers or documents, no court cases are going to be filed and no assets are going to be seized.

The message they leave is intended to instill enough concern in the intended victim that they will return the call.  The goal of the scammers may be one or more of the following:

• They may just be phishing for personal information, under the guise of verifying your identity, so they can use it for identity theft later.
• They may claim that you need to pay "processing fees" before they can serve the papers.  Payment could be demanded through gift cards, cash transfer apps, or by requesting bank account information.
• The scammers might use this as a pretext to a "Fake Debt Scam" and will claim that there is some outstanding "debt" that they are trying to collect on.  The claimed debt will usually be very old (beyond the Statute of Limitations) and a fairly sizeable sum.  They will offer to let their victim settle the debt for a fraction of that amount and avoid being sued in court if they pay then and there over the phone.  They will be very aggressive and try to browbeat and threaten the victim to make a payment.  They will refuse to give any details about the debt beyond generalizations and will also refuse to agree to send any documents supporting their claim, often claiming that they were already sent at some earlier time.

Relatives of the intended victim and even employers (present and past) may be called in an effort to embarrass the victim into calling the scammers to get the calls to stop.

The best course of action is to ignore the calls and not return any call.  If you have any doubts about being sued, call your local courthouse instead and have them check if anything has been filed against you, you will find the lack of results reassuring.
Remember that if you were really being sued, a real process server would not call you or a relative about papers needing to be delivered, they simply show up and serve the papers.
