I have receveived several calls from 866 numbers. this is the latest. how do you stop this?

I'm also tired of this 866 bs. There's got to be a way to ignore these kinds of calls.

i was luckily on the phone at the time else i would have picked the call. Thank god

they called me offering magazine sales. i wasn't thinking and actually gave them my credit information. trying to find something to do

If you think back around the time you began getting the mystery call, it was right after you signed up with something on the internet or some type thing related to sales. Mine began happening about 2 days ago.

ads sent to me by Clearwire

IN NO way am I saying Clearwire is BAD I love Clearwire and wouldnt even be online if it were not for Clearwire.

My internet flies through things I have heard others had some difficulties with slow speeds but not me

Thats where the calls are coming from bet ya 10 to 1

Something like thast, so check your phone bill and email if you signed up with anything around the time the mysterious calls began to show up!
You'l figure it out!

I didn't answer this call because it was from a weird area code but i called back to remove my number and the line just kept being busy.

Has called repeatedly, I have yet to answer.  Tried returning it twice and busy signal both times.

Did they use your personal credit info for ID theft? I did the same thing.  I feel like an idiot!

I keep getting these calls, and earliar, my mom said that the bill said I had signed up for some chat thing, what is that supposed to mean, but i read that one, so maybe it was them, but whatever they want to sell or tell me, they better leave me alone, or else(i dont know)

Same as all the rest i get the call i try and answer when i can and they hang up.  and when i dont answer they dont leave a message its BS!!! i would like to know wat it is or who...
 My friend says as a joke that its good you dont answer when he calls and when you try and reach him its busy!!! makes since even if your not religious!!!

8664374393 called me today, i have had prev calls from 8009841178, when you try to call back it is always busy, one time i picked it up and they hung up. Today I got that call and picked it up, a lady sd I was either entered into something to win a trip or something along those lines, being a fed employee aware of the FDCPA laws, I stopped the lady and asked her if she was calling me on a dialer system (dialer system is a system that calls accounts or phone numbers in a companys office automatically w/o having to dial the number manually)-- the lady replied yes she was, i then made the lady aware that she was contacting me on my cell phone and that was illegal, adv her to put her supervisor on the ph--"john s emp #737 got on the ph, very rude, asked what the problem was- i advised him that it was illegal to contact me on my cell phone, this man was very scarcastic and rude, asked for his full name refused to give his last name, only provided his firt initial of last name and emp #, wouldnt give out address of CENTURY MARKETING, sd they were located in HELENA, MT, asked for a ph # for main office sd was # from caller id (note: remember that when you try to call the # on your caller id, its always busy...)told JOHN S to get a real job instead of scamming people w/telemarketing calls, JOHN S said hes got a great job and makes $150k/year, I just laughed and I asked to speak with a manager at this time , he claimd that he was the GM of this company, held the phone away from him asked if anybody else wanted to speak to me, then came back on the phone and said sorry nobody wants to talk to you. I then told JOHN S not to ever call my cell phone again and I ended the call.

yes i have been having the same problem but they have been callin my husbands cell. everytime they call and i try to call back i get a busy signal. but last night around midnight im like well let me try it rang and rang and rang and some woman answered the phone and said they will contact me and hung up. it just pisses me off that people sit and call and call and then won't leave you a message and then other comanys wonder why we dont pick up 800 numbers anymore because you never know who its going to be or be a phone call where they just hang up on you.

I received a call on my cell phone from 866-437-4393 also.  They didn't leave a message and when I try to call back, it's always busy.
