- Be carefull lobalobaFFG must be calling lobaloba or getting ready to sue her! She will find out soon enough that they are not a scam! Once she is served court papers I'm sure she won't think it's funny anymore! It really sucks that some people must learn the hard way while others like myself will call them and take care of whatever it is! Lobaloba has no idea what she's in for!
- lobaloba| 1 replySo to everyone reading this FFG is not a scam like I thought! I posted a comment on 9/3 because they were calling me threatening me with a law suit. Well I told them to [***] and kept hanging up on them when they would call. Well I was just served with court papers this morning at my job! I guess they really are serious! I'm freaking out now and I'm probably going to lose my job since it didn't look to nice in front of my boss and other employees who watched the officer serve me the papers! I feel like an idiot for not working with them when I had the chance.

- Nate| 1 replyThis is regards to charlie saying the check was written to a payday loan called Quick Cash. The loan place is actually Quik Cash. I use to work for the company. Well it looks like Quik Cash had no success collecting debts from people so they turned it over to the collection agency.
Here are some things to know:
Quik Cash is a large company in several states and go by different names in each state. If this is possibly you got to qcholdings.com to see what names they go by in your states.
Quik Cash is part of the CFSA. Which means as a cfsa member no member can press charges against any customer who wrote a check with their payday loan company and it bounced. This rule has to be followed as well if it gets sold to a collection agency. They however can take you to small claims court.
How does the small claims court work? Well there is only going to be a very few ways this will work but they can do it. If they know where you work, called your hr to verify they do garnishments they will def take you to small claims court if you don't pay. Here's where this is tricky. Will they take you to small claims court? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Depends on how big the debt is. Since these checks seem to be for quik cash they have to come to the state where you wrote the check and file the claim because the company where you wrote the check was based in lets say missouri where I am from.
These are some things we had to know about when I worked for Quik Cash. That company is a joke and this is amusing to me.- Caller: FFG

- KennyI am being sued by ffg too. My lawsuit has nothing to do with a bad check I wrote. I am being sued for an old debt I never paid. They offered me an out of court settlement but I didn't pay it so now they are taking me to court and I guess I'm being sued for alot more then I originally owed! I'm just waiting for my court date!

- lolaboba replies to lobalobaI am not lolaboba but I am just showing you how EASY IT IS to pretend you are lolaboba posting this (person from FFG) to say that people who don't owe a thing should work with you. Nice try.
oh yeah posted on 9/18 after yours 9/3. - Sherlock replies to ConnieThere is some truth to what Jason is saying. Follow the link below for some good information on this subject.

For example, Frank's rhetoric here is remarkably similar to Patricia's on another forum at the same time. Look here...

Not identical, but enough similarities to conclude that they are the same person. - Busted! replies to BarbaraHere we have Barbara sounding eerily similar to "J.P."
http://phoneowner.info/Number.aspx/8664436985/2 - Anna replies to MomoI received calls from FFG & Associate I never answered their calls. The last call they left was from a guy name George stating to return his call because they have filed a civil suit in my county and it was imperatitive I call to have it stopped. He never identified what debt I have----nor sent a letter to validate any debt. I have no debt for them to collect on --- i will continue to ignore them till i get something in writing. This FFG & Associates is calling from 1-866-443-6985 x238. I did put in a complaint with the FTC.

- GregI Was served today with court papers! Says I'm being sued by FFG and assoc. I never heard of these people until today! I have no idea why they are suing me but I will talk to my attorney and see what he says. I think it's probably an old bill I never paid but why wasn't I contacted by them before today? Can they just sue me like this without any prior notice?

- LuluI have received calls from Christina, Suzanne, and Greg Sutton threatening to prosecute me if I do not settle the debt. Suzanne left several messages and was very abrasive. She wanted my debit card number to extract a payment from my checking account. I asked for their address and told them I would mail them a check. She refused to give me an address and said they could not accept a check. She called several times. When I called back Friday evening, I asked to speak to her supervisor and I was transferred to her again. She left another message on my cell phone threatening to turn me over to their attorney to prosecute me for a bad check and stating that I needed to grow up and act like a woman and pay my debts. Friday, I also received messages on my work phone from Suzanne and Greg Sutton stating that I had to pay up by the close of business Monday or else. I had foolishly given them my debit card info Thursday. They kept calling back to say the payment would not go through. I began to get suspicious because I had just used the card for other transactions. When I asked again for an address they refused. My account has not been debited but now I wonder should I close it?

- BillThey are Suing me also! Mine is for an old bill I didn't pay a couple years ago. Yesterday I received a summons to appear in court! Wow they really are serious! I ignored their calls and filed a couple complaints against them and now a police officer served me the court papers. I wish I would have known about this chat line sooner. I would have just paid the stupid bill rather then be sued like so many other people on here! This is not good!

They say she owes money to Ace Cash Express..................Yes I do believe they are a scam too. Who can we report this to?- Call type: Debt collector
- BrandiThese people keep calling my work number, I have no clue who they are and they keep asking for my social security number, when I refuse they get very rude and they ask for our human resource dept and an address so that they can send a US marshall here. I just reported them to the FTC!!!

- LarryThey are suing me too. I gave the court papers to my attorney and he will represent me in court. It's all over a bill I didn't pay from about a year ago. The $2000 bill is now over $3000 with all the rediculous legal fees. My attorney says he can get most of the fees waived but he says I will get stuck with a judgement after they sue me and probably my wages garnished or a lein on my home. I'll post another comment on here after my court hearing to let everyone know the outcome!

- Willie BReceived call from this company from 866-443-6985 and 702-445-7777 which belong to Frontier Financial Group aka FFG out Henderson, NV. Just report their scare tactics to the Federal Trade Commission or your State attorney General. Post dated checks taken to represent repayment on a loan are not a criminal act ( check your state law to be sure) , no jail, no sheriff, no closing of bank accounts, do not fall for their threats. Try to settle your account for the lowest amount possible if you get a written offer, and keep a copy of your money order. do not use a personal check, do not give them your credit card number. ask them to cease and desist from further collecion and communication, if that is what you prefer. The only recourse they have is to put this bad debt on your credit report for 7 years from the " DATE OF LAST ACTIVITY".
