Citi Bank

I had opened an account and got a call twice from this number. They didn't leave a message the first time and the second time I picked up and an automated voice told me to call the number back to verify my information with a reference number.

I called Citibank directly from the number on their web site and they said this is NOT a Citibank number and they couldn't find anything under the reference number.

I got a call from this number, too, but it was 6:30 AM.  I didn't answer  because I was in bed.
Don't you think it's a LITTLE  too early to do that?!

I got a call at 6:30 AM again,It's just like a wake-up call, but I didn't need it.

Yes, they call at 2 a.m. and say that our account that we applied for with Citibank is now open and to call them on a certain other number.  This came after an email that we received.  They knew my husband's name and middle initial (though they did not use it correctly).  The first thing they asked for when I called was his social security number.  Total PHISHING SCAM, and I hope they get caught and put in prison!
