AARP left voice mail - an info call about state and federal regulations or some such. They said to call 800-719-3020 for more info, or check their web site www.aarp.org/il.

Got a call from this number hiding their identity under "toll free call".  We never answer calls like this and there was no message left.  We have been on the do not call registry since it started and consider any of these calls a violation of it.

My caller ID displayed the number 866-448-3613 where the name of the caller would normally be.  We didn't recognize the number so we didn't answer.  There was no message left.  We're also on the 'Do Not Call' list for all the good that is.

This is a legitimate call from AARP Illinois regarding an Ameren, Comed electric rate hike and includes the phone number of our state representative (844 220 5552) along with the proposed bill (Number 1585) . They want us to call our rep and tell him to vote NO on the rate hike. Not only will the rate go up, but it will be difficult to calculate your usage and even know the rate you are being charged.
