Couple text messages received, neither of them contain a company name or what the issue is.

1st one said- (My name) notice of action issued to property address (listed a address )
Then listed the above  phone number tel:866-448-3641  and supposed case number

2nd text said: (My name) -Conversation on Record - Breach of Contract to be filed , Final Notice sent, listed the same mailing address they supposedly sent communication to In And Then listed the above phone number tel:866-448-3641 and supposed case number  that was also in the first text

Both the number 866-448-3641  and the supposed case number, were included as hyperlinks, no way I’m clicking on them.

Interestingly enough the address they listed was someone’s address I know that I have only used twice in my life and both times were to have something from Amazon sent to them so it was safe, I had no other time have I ever use that address so the only way they could’ve gotten that address is from Amazon

Unless synchrony bank who owns the Amazon card sold my data, I am currently trying to find out who sold my data without my permission so I can sue them and encourage everybody else to do the same that finds themselves here as a result of these messages.
    • Caller: No idea they never identify themselves

trying to find out who sold my data
There was a data breach in December 2024 that exposed shipping records for millions of Amazon customers. While Amazon states that the breach did not affect customer accounts, the exposed data, including names and addresses, could be used for fraudulent purposes.

More than likely it is a Debt Extortion Scam

The vague scare tactic message is designed to panic a victim into contacting them. Victims who follow their instructions are the ones they are looking for as an easy scam.

Most debt collectors will use a certain amount of pressure to convince you to pay the debt. After all, they often don't get paid unless you pay. Be suspicious of a debt collector who uses an unusual amount of pressure to get you to pay immediately, particularly if they also use scare tactics to get you to pay right away. For example, a debt collector is scamming you if it :
    • threatens you with a lawsuit and tells that you can avoid the lawsuit by paying right away
    • Says a Process Server  or Courier is coming with papers to sign
    • Threatens to call / go to your place of employment
    • Insists you have been notified, served or are non-compliant via phone message(s)
    • Refuses to give a company name or verifiable Contact source
    • Refuses to send proof of debt via US mail

A sure sign of a debt collection scam is a collector that wants to you to pay via wire transfer or another method that can't be traced. If the payment method can't be traced, you'll have a harder time getting the authorities involved.

If the creditor sounds completely foreign, or you know you never had an account with that business, there's a chance it's a scam. Never pay a collection you don't recognize. You have the right to request written proof of the debt from the debt collector before you send payment.
