This is a legitimate call from DHL. I'm expecting a package that needs signature confirmation and they called to let me know.

Twenty-one entries in this thread and I count 14 of them as shill posts.  66% shill rate tells me this is a scam.  Most people post on this
site if they have been scammed or there as been an attempted scam..  The shills post here basically telling us how "legit" the number is.
Not fooling me.  This number belongs to some sort of scam operation.  Maybe information fishing.   Ignore and block it.

We also received a call which was cut off, after checking here I rang the number as I was expecting something to ship from overseas. DHL was very helpful, they are aware that their automated calls are running too fast, thereby not letting tracking info etc get picked up on voicemails and they are working on fixing the problem. I had a very pleasant and professional person help and find the tracking info and ETA date for my shipment, worth a call.

Rang once noon Sunday, no message.  DHL tracking information states that my shipment from the UK is due by end of day on Tuesday.  Not bad for an eBay order placed on late Friday afternoon!  Unfortunately, their system does not state whether a signature is required.  :-/

Call coming from this number has rung our office 3 times this morning and hung up each time. Called them back and it was a shipping company. Service representative said he had no idea how to check why we were receiving calls and would not help.

i called DHL and yes there is a pkg and it is not a scam call. They asked to have someone available to sign for the pkg.

It is DHL stating they have a delivery to make.  Provided correct information and tracking number.  Not a scam.

I received a call from this number and there was a msg on my voice mail from DHL informing me that my package will be here the next day and will need a signature upon delivery. I did have a package coming in from Japan and I did have to select that method of delivery when I had to make payment for my preordered items that came in. So, for me, this is a legit call/number. I have received these calls before when packages are being shipped to me via this service. I have no idea what some of these other posters are reporting on but yes it is always good to be cautious if you are not expecting DHL deliveries.

DHL. Recorded message stating a package will be delivered and the tracking #. It's legit (though always be careful and check online), but I wish there was a way to opt out of the calls or switch to email or something. It's extremely annoying..if you don't pick up, they will call back another 2 times, immediately after. Picking up and quickly hanging up doesn't do anything. You have to pick it up and listen for the message to start, then hang up.

Legitimate Call - I'm expecting a message from Amazon.co.jp (アマゾン日本) and DHL called my office phone. Normally, the DHL On-Demand service sends an SMS/text to your mobile phone, but, if you put down a landline/non-mobile phone under the address's phone number, it will call you instead (and at a convenient hour of 9:20am, I'll say.) Do not ignore if you know you have a package and choose to speak to the representative if you weren't expecting one and are suspicious about it - it will give you the option to speak to a representative.

Legit DHL automated call

Called our office with a pre-recorded message about a DHL package due to be delivered in a couple of days. Sadly, the Caller ID listed the phone number twice, rather than DHL.

Received call on my recorder, but not sure what it is.  I am expecting an order but not sure this is what its about. I have a tracking number
