- ja| 1 replythese clowns called and said that someone was hacking into my account and to call back to verify. I called back because I really couldn't understand the broken English and the guy says what is my account number??? I asked what this is....and they said EFAX. I don't know and didn't know what eFax is and so I said I don't have an account.
the guy argued with me and said someone would call back to delete my account....HELLO....I DON"T HAVE AN ACCOUNT SO WHY WOULD SOMEONE NEED TO CALL ME BACK TO DELETE IT?????
guy hung up on me....nice company.......should be shut down.- Caller: efax
- Dave| 1 replyI've been called by this company a few times. They want to update my payment information for something called Efax. I don't have an account with Efax. I think this is a scam.
- Caller: Efax
- Ed S.| 3 repliesThis number is the toll free number for E-Fax's Accounting Dept., Credit Card Services Group. I do have EFax and this was a legitimate call to me to let me know that my credit card has expired and further monthly charges could not be processed. I updated on line with my new card information and was also offered a lower cost annual subscription rate which I accepted. I have been quite happy with their service since 2004. They don't need to ask for an account number, all they asked for was my EFax phone#. If you don't have an Efax Phone# I don't know what to say about these prior postings. Just one legit EFax customer's input to this page of 800notes.com Which I have found very helpful.

- Kerry W.I'm with Ed S., I've had an account with EFax for years. When my billing came up this month, the card on file had expired and the call was to notify me. Perhaps those with complaints inherited the number of an EFax client that failed to update their profile with the company.
ps Love 800notes.com- Caller: Efax

- Fred LEndless calls from Efax.
I don't want efax and I cancelled the service. I get endless calls for years telling me that my card has expired. I DON'T WANT YOUR F******G SERVICE.- Caller: Efax

- NeilI'm with Ed & Kerry. This is legit. My card was 'compromised' so the card company gave me a new number. I didn't update the efax, so they had a problem. Not spam.
- Caller: EFax
- cdfHas to be a scam, they do not mention anything of pertanance and the are wanting to "update" our acconts, translation, get our account information. Police need to visit these folks...
- Caller: they don't say, 866-450-9995
- Shills here| 2 repliesDon't buy the shill "I'm an efax customer and it's real" reports. Too many people who have no accounts get these obvious phishing calls. Anyone savvy enough to be using this site to check suspicous calls is savvy enough to know, if they truly have an account, to log in to the website and confirm any claims of that type. Same common sense as not following a link in spam emails.
- Caller: Phishing
- BrentCalled to verify billing on EFAX account, which I don't have. Phishing scam!
- JYReceived voicemail on my iPhone from Brooke at eFax stating urgent issue as the charge to my credit card has not gone through. Requested I call back to ensure my service is not interrupted. I do not have eFax so I am assuming he might have missed dialed the number. I will not be returning the call as there is no issue for me :)
- Caller: eFax
- karenI had eFax many years ago. Now I use myfax.
When I said I would log on to see if it were past due, they hung up. - DJeFax calling to let me know my credit card couldn't be billed.

- CondorSCAM ------- Called me and left voicemail that they want to update my payment information for Efax. I don't have an account with Efax.
- Caller: efax
- Karin LThis is not EFax, it is MyFax but it was hard to understand the lady's broken English and she talked way too fast. My credit card number on file had been shut down because it was compromised and she was calling to tell me the charge did not go thru. It was a legit call.
- Caller: MyFax
- Jody MorventThis is NOT myfax!

- Unhappy recipient of scam callsSomeone from phone number 866-450-9995 left a voicemail in my work's general voicemail box at 9 PM last night. The caller repeated himself several times and said it was "Lloyd at ext 1356". He told me my credit card didn't go through and that he needed another form of payment. Today when I called the company to find out what they needed, I was told that they do not have an ext 1356, even though "Lloyd" repeated it several times. They have an Middle Eastern Indian accent. I don't have an EFAX account, although he assured me that it was me that they needed payment from.

- Scott| 1 replyReceived a voicemail yesterday while I was out of the office stating that it was "MyFax" as opposed to eFax.
Aiden at ext 1486 was the # which was left.
I'm the IT admin so there is a chance I would have heard about this service but Accounting will know for sure. I just forwarded the voicemail in an email with the warning that it may be a fishing call.- Caller: MyFax
- Scott replies to ScottUPDATE: I just heard back from accounting and MyFax was trying to use a card which was, in fact, expired. Accounting is not going to call back at the number Aiden left but will update directly on the company portal just to be safe.
