I've had two missed calls on my cell today from this number.

I called the number, and received a recording that the number was not in service.

One time they asked "Who handles your Dominion gas bill?".  I asked them to hold on, then they hung up.

Before we subscribed to Caller ID, another time they asked me to look at my gas bill and tell them how much it was.  When I asked "What is this regarding?" they hung up.  (It sounded like the same people who called from this number.)

Getting called almost every day.  they hang up immediately.  Very annoying.  some kind of spam call.

I have answered about 10 calls a day for the past week on 3 of our phone lines. It just hangs up when you answer. Really annoying.

The phone rings at my home,I answer and no response after saying "hello' several times the caller hangs up.Very concerned if they are trying to find out if anyone is home.

Just received a call from this number at work, when I answer no one there,
when I redial this number recording says this is a discontinued number.

How does the phone company permit this?

This number calls along with other numbers, I awnser the phone and nobody says anything i hear a click and when I call them back it says this number is out of service. I think alot of people would say i am a radical thinker and I personally beleive it is our government or somebody in our government  doing something very shady maybe calling people that are on a so called black list ect.... I do not trust them, and you shouldn't as long as there is FISA.

Just got off of the phone with them.  They want to offer me - free of charge - .03 cents off of my gas bill through August of 2009.  Wanted my account number to let my gas company know about it.  Didn't feel comfortable about it at all.  Needless to say, I said I'm not interested.

Same as everyone else...my voicemail logs a 1 or 2 second message, which is nothing but a click, and the number does come up on caller ID. When my vociemail emailed me at work with the number the first time, I tried calling it and it is not in-service.

Keep calling, phone rings and rings

They have been calling every day, but not leaving a message. When I try to call the number back, it hangs up on me immediately. I tried calling the number from my cell and I get a disconnect beep. Obviously spam.

they called like twice and i didn't answer and they left no message. so i have caller id. called it back and they said this number is disconnected or something like that. what can you do about calls like this it so annoying. the creeps, let people alone got it.

The caller hangs up when I answer. Caller ID from this number just says "Service."

Answered call... then silence... apparently one of those auto dialers then you have to wait for someone to come on the line to actually speak.  I said hello - waited two seconds and hung up knowing it was going to be worthless anyway.

These people have called several times in the past 2 weeks -I tried to recall but service says number is out of service or disconnected-Person calling has identified themselves as being with Columbia Gas co.when they call--Being as I dont use gas in my home its very suspicious and its always when I myself am not home-

Got Them!!!  The company is (IGS) International Gas Company.  friend at work told me to have my wife answer the computer call, sure enough the call went thru, I asked to be taken of the list they gave me a number that works    1-877-724-5557

It is a verizon number. When I call back from my landline, it says the number is disconnected. When I call back from a verizon cell, it seems to indicate that it is a verizon number that is no longer in service. I answered when the phone rang, but there was no one there and the line went to a busy tone.
