ID said "toll free" but left no message. Called the number back and it's a non working number. Go figure!

With some of the new phone scams it is NOT advisable that anyone ever call back any of the numbers.

A new scam is where they are set up outside the country, and when people call them back, the number answers and puts you on hold. What you don't know is that it's a premium service you have connected to and the per minute charges are extremely high. The longer you stay on the line, the higher the charges. You may not know this is what you did until you get your phone bill. Some people have had bills show up with charges of several hundred dollars! The premium service gets some of the money but the scammer also gets some for connecting you!!

Just received a call from this number. (I usually do not answer if the display shows no name, but I was expecting a call.) The recorded female voice said that they wanted to clean my carpet. I hung up before getting to their instructions, which would of course have been to press some number.
