Received a \call from (866) 452-9193. Left a message. Said it was Comcast calling about my pending order.  I have placed no orders.  Probably a reverse sales call to get you to call them back.

 Left a voice message stating she was calling on behalf of Comcast,  regarding a recent order for telephone service. She instructed me to call this number to avoid cancellation.
Sorry, never placed an order for phone service. Scam

Caller claimed to be with Comcast, asked for my SSN, which I refused and said I'd have to call my provider directly. Pretty sure this is a SCAM. Be warned!

Received a message from someone saying they were from Comcast saying to call them back about an installation. Made no sense. They have my phone number (a different one) and different email address. This must be a scam. They would not have this number they called me on.

This number (866-452-9193) left a voicemail my cell phone stating they were calling from Comcast calling to confirm a new install. The number they provided to call back (866-452-9194) was an automated answering service stating that I qualified for a $100 Walmart gift card and press 1 to speak to an operator, which i did not. I was suspicious and contacted Comcast directly to confirm if this was a scam. Comcast gives Prepaid Visa cards, not Walmart. The cust rep from Comcast called 866-452-9194 and was connected to a person out of country and informed them there was a processing fee for the card. He discontinued to call and called me back to advise it was a scam. I asked to elevate this at Comcast as someone has my info and is using it illegally. SCAM!

2 different calls,  both said they were from xfinity and needed my modem mac address  number to close the open order,  all this information is already with xfinity ,  I called xfinity and they confirmed it wasnt them calling, it was a scam.
