"Publishing Concepts, Inc., is a publisher of alumni directories for colleges, fraternities, and sororities".....and I've received several postcards/emails from both my undergrad and graduate colleges regarding PCI.  Both educational institutions only have my business number, since I don't want any of their soliciting on my personal numbers.  Anyhoo, both colleges are updating data for their 2010 alumni directory (which comes at an extra cost).  Alumni related web pages on both college websites also note this company doing this work.  Both colleges have the limited information I want them to have, so I'm not going to correspond with PCI.

Same number as everyone else is getting calls from (866-454-4118).  Either talk or stop calling - those are the only options.

This machine number of 866-454-4118 belongs to Publishing Concepts which publishes Alumni Directories for major Universities.  They have called my cell number & not left messages on 7-4-09 9:21 am & 2:37 pm, 7-6-09 6:52 pm, 7-7-09 6:58 pm, 7-11-09 10:52 am.

Always calls but never leave message.

If you think I will pick up phone on unrecognized number.... I have news for you.

Thanks to all for identifying 866-454-4118 as belonging to Publishing Concepts, and thanks to my alumni association for passing along my personal information.

They called twice and never left a message.  My VOIP (Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol, aka "digital phone") provider, Teleblend, provides "call blocking" with their standard service.  Goodbye Publishing Concepts!

Calls from this number are around 5 just this morning in the last 3 hours.

All calls to my number are recorded, some are even forwarded automatically creating a record. If it does become repeating will file a lawsuit, especially if as before it turns out related in any way to a media company.
My number is unlisted and registered on no call list. I pay extra, a lot extra for this and will seek large damages from all violators.

receive calls almost daily, they hang up when i answer.

I receive this number all the time.  Unfortunately, they have been hired by Northeastern University to handle their marketing and publishing their 10 year Alumni Directory.  Unfortunately they have confused me with someone else and simply won't accept their error.

Believe it or not, this looks to be a legitimate business.  However their tactics are definitely not cool.

866-454-4118 is PCI, as referenced many times above. I called 800-395-4724, as mentioned above, then selected Option #2. Spoke with a CSR named Mandy. She said she'd add my # to their "Do Not Call" list, but it may take a few days to process.

Seemed easy enough. We'll see! :-)

At least when you call back the number from which they called, arecording tells you why they are calling.  Better than most of these calls.

Got several caller id's from this number but no messages.  When I called the number back got a recording but not clear who it was.  So I have reproted the number to the do not call registry and happily note that you may also report recorded calls from any phone number- those were always terrible because there is no way to tell the caller to take you off their list.  Also got a call alleged to be from U of Arizona Alumni assn yesterday and told her directly to take me off the call list.  We'll see.

Keeps calling place of business.  Caller doesn't say anything when I answer, simply hangs up.  Happens frequently.

Ok so I called and Debra Dale said she will have my number taken off immediately...  the interesting thing is that I didn't graduate from college and am not a member of an Alumni Association.....  The number they called is my business cell phone number  -  What a scam - except.... I don't know what they wanted... they didn't ask for anything - maybe personal info?????  Be Careful!
