Got an email wanting me contact them of class action law suit against airline I have used since 2011...I do not respond this type of emails....Wondering if it is for real or a FAKE

It might actually be real, but you know that the only people who will make anything out of this are the lawyers.

The story is real but the email you got isn't- it's copied and pasted from a Ciston PR Newswire webpage/story about this, the only difference is the email starts "Dear Class Member: Our records show you may have purchased a domestic airline ticket from American, Delta, Southwest, United, Continental Airlines, or US Airways between July 1, 2011 and June 14, 2018..."- beyond that the email is verbatim from the story. The OTHER difference is, the web address link in the story, www.DomesticAirClass.com, has been changed changed to a 'hacker' address in the email. Clicking on the web link in the email will not end well, could be a ransomware virus or worse. Shift-Delete that email!
