This number calls me as well. Didn't say what company. Left a voicemail saying someone filed a complaint on me.

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer but they left a message saying they were from a "Premier Recovery Group" (PNG) and that I have a complaint against me. They are a debt collection company for payday loans. According to another fourm, this company is a complete scam. Do NOT give you personal information on the phone. I did that once and was scammed out of $500, however, thanks to my bank I was reimbursed. this is a total scam. they called me as well, same MO.

That I owed this company better than $1000.00 had me set up payments!!

They called and they wanted me to verify info and they wanted to set up wage garnishments

A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

* Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed ... not emailed or texted]

Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via green dot, Western Union, or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.

They are harassing my parents!!! Ugh!!

I just recieved a call from a female stating that they have a claim against me and they are from Premier Recovery Group. According to BBB they are a scam and have 148 complaints against them.

This number calls me everyday  and leaves a message stating I owe a debt and they have a file against me. This is a scam for sure because I don't owe anything.

They are calling me leaving me a threatening message at work from 866-460-7833.

I got a call from 866-460-7833 yesterday from Premier Recovery Group with it leaving an automated message saying I need to call back as there is a pending case against me, same as many of the other complaints.  They called again today and I spoke to a Mr. Evans, of course he has all my personal information, SSN#, bank info, etc.  He claims there is a pending case against me from an unpaid payday loan.  Yes I have had a few payday loans in my past and I have always taken care of my financial resposibility.  I inquired as to the name of the company and dates of such alligations.  He said it was from June 2012 and then later said it was March 2012.  I informed him that I did not receive any payday loans at that time and I have bank records to prove such.  He said no one keeps their bank records from that long ago, well sir I do have the information.  I told him that I would be happy to fax the information showing that I did not have a loan at that particular time but first the I am requesting that he mail or email me a written notice with the full name of the creditor, the amount owed and a copy of the loan documentation from this alleged loan.  He said he is only a middle man and he does not have that information and that whoever told me to say such things does not get me out of paying a debt.  He also proceeded to tell me that no one would have a copy of the original loan document they don't keep that information for court proceedings.  I informed him that i have this right by the Fair Debt Collection Pratices Act to the requested documentation and that he is required to send this information with 5 day of first contacting me.  He of course said I was incorrect and he does not have and would not send me information.
Mind you that while I was on the phone with this man in the background I could hear another man making call and heard him say my DOB, which at the time I thought was weird.  But when I got off the phone with Mr. Evans I had a message from a Donald Jasper from the same company saying there was a case against me and I needed to call or they were going to serve me papers.
Gentlemen please serve me papers so that I can go to court as I will counter sue for harassment.
Be careful people these companies are scammers, payday loan companies sell your information and weather your loan is paid or not whomever they sell the loan to will just continue to harass you for a very long time trying to get money.

That is so sad. I just got a call from the same company. The lady had all my information. I asked her what was the exact date and she told me she would have to get with her manager and she would call me back. How are you a debt collecter but don't have any information on the bank the money was deposited to or the exact date besides the month and year.

I got a call from this same company yesterday. They stated I had some pay day loan from 2011.I don't remember even taking out a pay day loan in 2011. Then the woman got very rude with me and said you made 3 payments and then stopped. I told her oh really then what was the bank account these alleged payments  came from and she said she didn't have that information. I said if your collecting a debt how don't you have that info. Then some gentleman comes on the line and tells me that he's the last stop if I don't make payment arrangements I'm getting a court summons.I told I'm looking into the matter and I will get back to him. I am not calling these scam artists back.

These people have called me the last 3 days and leaving a messege saying I have a complaint against me. Not sure why they are calling me. And don't you have to have written documentation for things like this?

Have received 2 calls from this number saying they were looking for someone in particular (name called), and that I was a reference for them...I called the number back, no company name was called when they answered the phone, the lady said "Tracy speaking, how can I help you",  I told them I did not know who they were talking about and to stop calling this number.  The lady apologized and said my number would be removed...I feel this is probably a scam.

Got a voicemail saying that a voluntary arrangement with is in danger of being violated. If it was an error to press 0 to speak with a representative.  Then they left a callback number 866-460-7833. I think since this the time of year that people said getting their W-2s and file their tax returns,  they're trying to get in on the ground floor to get your money.

I got a call from them and they were trying to serve me papers for a payday loan that I have NEVER taken out.  I told them that they could serve me at home and they wanted me to verify the address.  I told them that if they have court papers, they should have my address.  I told them I was going to report them and they said that if I pay my debts, they wouldn't need to proceed.  They also called my parents who are elderly and almarmed
