No one answered when I picked up.

I too keep getting calls from this phone number. I got 4 calls within a span of less then one hour on a sunday. They don't leave any voice messages.

I received a call from this number saying they were from Ace collections.  They asked me my name.  I said that's my name.  They described a debt I didn't make.  She gave me my son's complete social security number and date of birth.  I told her that was not my information.  I believe it is illegal to give out such information to third parties.  I would like to make a complaint against this agency.  Does anyone know who they are and if they violated the law?

They are a payday advance store. Sounds like tome your son took out a loan and used you as a reference. It is illegal to give out personal information like that over the phone to a third party, as well as letting the third party know what the call is for. I would definitely file a complaint to the BBB.

I had several phone calls asking me to call back with a case number.  After research found it was from Ace Cash Express.  I went to their website and looked up the number for a local vendor.  They looked up my info and told me they had nothing on me, that chances were someone had used me as a reference to cash a check.  I'm suppose to call the number again on Monday.

Unsolicited phone calls

I got a phone call from this number. They didn't state where they were calling from, but they gave a case # and said I needed to call them today or they would have someone in management contact my employer to get my demographic information. They said it was the last attempt to contact me on a voluntary level, yet I have never gotten any other messages from them.

Yeah, I have no idea who they are ("Ace Cash Express").  I just got a call from them saying that it was obvious that I was intent on neglecting their calls and that a final decision regarding my case would be made in a week.  It was all very threatening.  Like I said, I have no idea who they are and certainly have to intention of calling them up.  If they have something to say to me, they should put it in the mail so I can read it over.

iam complaining that someone from this number call my daughter and threaten her that the state of sc would be after her if she dont have them money by noon. i mean they used the state of sc to threaten people i wish they would get them for using their name to threaten  people on the phone and let them know how a real law work.

They called me to, its Ace cash, although I did borrow money and then I got sick and couldn't pay it all back at once.  I am working with a debt consolidation company but Ace Doesn't care they will still call you and make threats to have the local police come pick you up.  I only owe them $300 and have every intention of paying it back. No need to threaten a person that contacting them and trying to make arrangements. Before I got sick I paid all my debts and now that I am sick I am still pressing forward to pay my debts no need of ACE to threaten me so harshly when I am and my consumer counselors are trying to work with them.  I will pay them back and NEVER take out another loan.  EVERYONE stay away from ACE Cash. I'll sleep under the stars and eat wood before I ever take another loan from anyone.

This number is Ace cash.  I owe them approx. $120-200 bucks, I missed a payment and they are hounding me like wolves---its ok I'm going and have told them that I am going to pay them off in about 3 weeks but they still have this guy calling me making these BIG BAD threats!  It ain't gonnna get them their money any quicker.......Ace is the worst company to borrow from...Americans lets stop borrowing and put these punks out of a job.  They have no souls and no understanding. I have even told them to draft the money from my account in 3 weeks, they still threaten me....Now I'm going to close my account and send them a money order because they are crazy and will not listen.

On 12/15/2009 I was contacted by an indivisual named Rylee who stated he was calling on behalf of ace cash express in reguards to a delinquent balance on a $300.00 loan.I explained to the indivisual I had not contacted them because recent financial hardships and was unable to financially resolve the matter but was willing to work out a payment plan.
At this point I requested not to be contacted to my place of employment reguarding financial personal matters. The indivisual became very agressive
stating that \"at this point I had no right to make any type of requestes\"
and also stated thatarranging a payment plan was no longer an option.
He stated that I needed to pay the fine in full or I would be refferd to the district attorneys office and that they would be contacting my employer to verify a \"demographic stauts\" reguarding my personal financial matters.
Damage Resulting = I am very concerned about this debt collector harassing me at my place of employment after i have requested him not to. please help.thankyou.

If they are calling you, dont worry about answering walk in to their stores and pay what you can, make sure you get a receipt and pay as you can. Trust me they will accept it.

Don't know who this is

Got harassing phone call like the others threatening me not to ignore the call. I called back and spoke with an angry man whose job is obviously to intimidate. I believe he was located in Virgina. He asked for my SS number which I did not give him and then told me who he wanted which was not me. He then asked for my phone number. When I gave it to him he rudely hung up.

but if you id'd yourself as the person they are looking for..then they did not nothing wrong.

I would be careful if I were some of you.  I thought the same thing..there is nothing they can do if I don't pay it.  Then I lost my driver's license..and when I went to the DPS to get a new one..I was arrested because of a warrant for theft by check..which after I found out was going on turned out to be due to the check that I gave to ACE to secure a payday loan.
