Agents from this firm called me up in regards to a person's loan that gave my name as a reference. They give you a case number and expect you to do their collection job.

I've nothing to do with them and they expected me to help them, & when I called them they showed no courtesy & no professionalism.
You have to be nice to them to get a little courtesy.

My fellow Americans, don't use pay day and/or cash advance stores.

It is against the law.  Get a lawyer.  Have them sue. It's done on a contingency.  If your attorney knows what he's doing, you can't lose.

Very rude, would not even tell me the organization or company name.

Jennifer, I wish I had read your notes before I took out a loan with this place. Your right we fall on hard times and need a little help and although they charge up the WAZOO in interest they still want to give us a hard time. I too have to pay back a loan. When I tried to make araangments they would not work with me and told the calls would still come everyday, so I started to ignore them. Although I have every intention of paying back the loan and went into the office and have only made one payment thus far, I have a very rude gentleman threatning me.

I had them callme like very other 4 hours and tellmethat this was my last chance to make good.
SHe told me good luck and hung up.

Ok, everyone, INCLUDING THE ACE CASH A**HOLES reading this. It is ILLEGAL to threaten, make false claims, and harrass consumers. If this is happening to you, call the Federal Trade Commision and file a complaint against the company. Also, call the Attorney General in your state, file a complaint. Do not be a victim to these jerks. Everyone falls on hard times and no one deserves the crap tastic phone calls these idiots continue to make.

I've gotten 5 calls back to back from this number and no one will say anything.

if ACE is the originator and the collection company then its not a contingency collection and the lawer will laugh at you

if you took a loan from ACE and ACE then collects on you themselves their is very little you can do, the FDCPA and the FCRA do not apply as the collection is consider 1st party to the debt
suck it up and PAY your damm bills

I got this phone call from this number with the guy saying i had till ten the next day to call back and then when i did call them back i got put on hold and then disconnected.  The person never stated who they were or what company i was calling.

I too have received many calls from this number. I do have a loan from this place with every intention of paying it back but as of right now I am like everyone else pulling through hard times. I have received the call of calling by 10:00a.m. tomorrow or else.... I do not know what or else is because they will not say. The lady that left this message is a Ms. Garcia, Sr. case manager. What to do if other bills are not being paid on time how do they expect you to pay them right now. Do they not care that a family is trying to survive on one income and still has bills stressing them out because they cannot be paid right now??

I just ignore them.  They try calling from several different numbers, but I have set most of them to reject from my phone. They are morons who do not care about the consumer.  With the harrasment they have given me, I have no intent on paying them back.  The way I see it is I paid them in interest well over what I borrowed.  I was going to pay them back, but events that were supposed to happen, did not.

This kind of debt is not dealt with in criminal court. It is a civil matter. A different collector will make arrangements.

Bull hockey. It is not a criminal matter. Strictly a civil matter. They have to send you certified letters, etc. and you have to go to court long before they can do much. Do settle though, it is much more expensive if you don't.

True, but it is still not a criminal matter. They still have to take you to court, and for small loans that is unlikely.

They can't do anything at all. The more the call the madder they get but they have no recourse once they've collected the anmount of money they loaned you. It's all hot air.
