Claims to be a debt collector for Lord and Taylors.  Lord and Taylors issued Lynn the credit card alone.  She has not used it and yet receives a bill from, El Paso Texas. for the amount of credit.

I got a call from a gentelman.... ask for me told him I was not home. Ask for another number to reach me. I stated that was the only one. He insisted that it is 2008 and that everyone has cell phones. Refused to give him any information.

Said it was Pennbro calling about a personal business matter.  Called twice at 6:20 AM.  First time Leon called.  Today Isabelle.

The above post is totally wrong. Lynn Penachio is not a debt collector for anyone. Whomever calls from the above phone number claims to be a debt collector for Lord and Taylors, when the account they issue is called a flex account and is their own.  The call comes from El, Paso Texas.

Report it to the FCC or the Federal Communications Commission, as sometimes kids get phone cards and make harassing phone calls and do things they should not do.

Keep getting calls from this company for our young teen daughter, who does not have credit cards.  Very rude, hard to understand people.  Will not leave a message or take no for an answer.  They called yesterday (Sunday) and my husband called back and told them (in very strong terms) never to call again and we are on no call list.  They did not call any more yesterday, but have started already this morning.  It is very annoying getting these calls 6 - 8 times a day for the last 4 days. How do you get them to stop?

these people called my work and left a message with the name jay ledbetter when i got the message i called the number back.a lady answered and wanted my name and number//i gave her my name and cell phone number//she said she could not pull up my account and needed my social security number//i said i would not give her my social//she said would you like to talk to a supervisER//I SAID YES//THEN SHE CAME BACK ON THE LINE WANTING TO KNOW WHERE I WAS LOCATED//INFORMED i thought she was getting me a supervisor//she said i just needed to tell where i was located//then she said she couldnt pull me up//i said well do not ever call my work phone again//and hung up

I get calls from these guys daily. (3-4 times) today i called back and asked for the company name, 'Pencro'. The guy i spoke with, 'Mike' would not tell me what he was calling about. I asked to speak with a supervisor who said his name was 'Peter Pelasquez' Peter says the company handles 'Personal Business' i asked if they did collections, he would not say anything more. apparently he could not pull up 'my information' everyone i spoke to started typing any time i said anything. I told him that its illegal to place unsolicited calls to cell phones in the state of TX, to which he said 'no it is not, sir, i am in Texas there is no such law'

The phone number is from a company that calls itself Pencro Associates. They are a fly by night collection agency with the scrupples of a 2 year old. The continually called my 10 yr olds phone 6 to 8 times a day for weeks. I even answered it one time and told them they were calling a childs phone. They apologized and still kept calling. Finnaly I gave it about a week and told them " This was a new number and I did not know the person they were calling. The next time they called I told them the same thing. I mean new as in two days. They stopped.

I just called using a phone other than my cell. They "couldn't find" my info, either, and wanted to search by my SS#.  No, thanks! I asked her what kind of business they were, to which she responded "I can't give out that information unless I can locate you in the system!?  WHAT?!?! I asked her to quit calling, so we will see what happens!

This Number  866-481-2385  keeps calling my Girlfriend. I answered the phone one day and they asked for my Girlfriend, they knew her first and last name and i told them that this is not her phone and i don't know her so quit calling this number! Within hours they are calling her again!!!

This is Penncro Associates, they collect for GE Money Bank/JC Penny's as well. They refuse to give their address so they can't receive a cease and desist, which is illegal.

Your young teen daughter may have ID theft, someone where she is enrolled at school or see's at a Dr.s office could have used her info. I see 8 years old with forclosures and repo's on "their" credit file. What a world, to use a childs ID and ruin their life. Go to FTC.gov and get a copy of her credit report now. I advise everyone to do this once a year. Be sure and look for address's on the report that are not yours, that's the first key to track down ID theft rings.

GE Money gives this number out as a debt consolidation consuling service. he he . Easy way to get rid of these people is to tell them you just started recording the phone call, then ask THEM questions in a brisk manner so they can't interupt you, like: what's your company name? Say it slower & Spell it  What's it's addtess? What's the address of the call center your calling from? What's your name, Company ID#, phone ext#, & supervisors name

They call 3-7 times per day and at all hours. They call for my husband and when I tell them to call when he gets off work, they tell me they can talk to me about it, but not until I give them my full name. I repeatedly ask them not to call so much during the day and they are extremely rude.

I have has a "county clerk" at 8pm (pleeeeeease!), an attorney and today it was J.C Sanders with a business matter.  When told to send something in writing they say they will and then nothing is received.

I did as you suggested when these folks called for the second time today -- calling my cell phone and asking for my husband (well, they had his name almost right).  Don't know whether it will stop them, but it was satisfying to feel like I was bothering them as much as they are bothering me!  My caller claimed to be Iris and her supervisor is Oscar.  Iris could not give me any information about why she was calling unless I gave her my personal information -- I just hope not many people are falling for this.
